The New Chessboard for 2016

While I was gone on my adventures,  there was an Election.

This post is not  analysis, just reference.

Ready?  Let's read:

First the US Senate:

54 R - 44 D - 2 Ind (Caucus w/D)*
*(I predicted 55 R - 45 D)

Now comes the US House of Representatives:

244 R - 188 D

And finally, California:

First, the Assembly:

52 D - 28 R

Finally, the CA State Senate:

25 D - 12 R - 3 Vacant

So why did Senator Boxer (D-CA) step down?

The South Bay flipped. In the biggest county of California, Los Angeles.

The Revolution begins!

Drop Your linen and Start Your Grinnin': Bringing Together the CAGOP + RPLAC for November

If I was in charge post-Primary 2014, here is what should be happening and said:

First, I promise "NO KUMBAYA!" The song gets on my nerve and most of us are professional enough to know that this song below is our theme:

Second, every Statewide Primary (legit) R Candisate should have a public and private meeting with their fallen opponents.  Their Staffs and volunteers should also meet and get together. Discuss tactics against the Majority D's and their allies in the Media.  Get everyone pointing in the same direction.

Pizza is always good to get people together.  No wars have ever started over Pizza.

[Subsection for Mr. Kashkari: Congrats from JSF in the Valley!  Though I use New Media, I forgot that  Air Forces (i.e. Commercials) defeat Ground Forces.  YOU must publicly reach out to Donnally to stop a Civil War from occurring fast.  I want to help, don't confuse warnings with opposition.
[I know the stakes, many do not.  This is Politics; You might be at the Top of the Ticket but if the Loyalists on the Ground are ignored or not in your circles, this will be Election 2010 (and 2012) all over again.
[Trust me, some bitter volunteer feeling deja vu (and they are many and legion), might do more harm against you then Governor Brown's dirty Tricks.  Know the best activists in ALL 52 County and tap their brain trust.  Much better then Ivy League]

In each county, do the same. If Primary opponents get together and create strategies (along with staffs and volunteers), we have the beginnings of a United front.

But like the poor Marines in Aliens, they weren't out of the woods when the set up a base.  The place was still ready to blow. (Thanks Bishop!)

Third: There are three major branches in CA Republican Politics.  If I was Chairman, I'd bring the County leaders of those branches (CRA, RLC and Reagan Caucus) to discuss bringing their respective groups together for November.  This is NOT a convention but a private meeting to get everyone in line with one thought:

If ONE California Republican is attacked,

[Note to Mr. Kashkari: If any of the Down Ticket candidates are being unfairly attacked by the media (not the D's), defend them.  Loyalty goes both ways.  As a former New Yorker, my one worry is if you can take Governor Brown's dirty tricks.  Please, prove me wrong]

Fourth: Our quiet Donor Class.

They have an outright disdain for our volunteers, yet without us on the ground in all 52 Counties, there would be NO Republicans in Sacramento or DC.  I humbly request the presence of the Donors to find the Pragmatic Activists within each County Party.  Meet them and plan for the future.  Donating one cycle at a time leads no one to victory.

[Note to Mr. Kashkari: Whitman's and Romney's staff (the same people) ignored the people who had years and years of On the Ground experience.  When Reagan won in all his elections, he TOOK Los Angeles County. Find those activists. Wine them and dine them.  And get the donors to love these unsung heroes]

Fifth: This all has to be done under six weeks.  If we have a unified front, nothing can stop the California Republicans from shaking the world before 2016.  We have 55 Electoral Votes in this state, if the RNC and every R POTUS candidate wants us, they have to fight with us!

[Note to Mr. Kashkari: Rallies and Fundraisers in all the 52.  Bring in big names from out of state. If they do not help you or the down ticket candidates, let the County Chairs know.  Make Los Angeles the battlefield once you Unite with Donnally's forces. Thank me after you win.  You haven't crossed the finish line yet.]

Finally, there are some people who claim to be in the GOP who will never be satisfied with who the candidates actually are or if you veer from their closed version of the Party.  Don't follow them.  We are the People who are the David's against the bureaucratic Goliath of Sacramento and DC.  How to win CA and LA are future posts this summer.

[Mr. Kashkari, next time you are in LA, contact this only Goth Blogger Republican.  I don't want another Whitman or Romney. We need to fight]

My question: What are doing to unify for November?

California Primary Endorsement Post #2 -- City of Angels (and one in SD and SB)

"Hip" Map of LA

Here we go!

A quick Reminder for Endorsements:

RPLAC = Republican County of Los Angeles;
CRA = California Republican Assembly (From the Right); and
RLC = Republican Liberty Caucus (Libertarian and Ron Paul Supporters).

***Also, these are my endorsements.  Though I am part of a few Republican organizations, these choices are my own and do not reflect on any group. *****

First though, I am going to travel south to a contested campaign.  Because I don't like the way he has been treated by some Social Conservatives (This person is particularly homophobic -- Reagan's Eleventh commandment does not matter; Only HER vision of what America used to be.)  I'm a Goth and don't take kindly to people not wanting people in my culture [Goths] and District [Reagan's old Home District has West Hollywood where I have many friends] out of the GOP.

After DeMaio's office was attacked, rather then stand behind each other, Jorgensen did not say anything.  This is not cool.

I endorse DeMaio in CA52 (SDGOP)

And my friend John A. wanted me to give a shout out to a candidate in San Benandino:

I endorse Lesli Gooch for CA-31 (SBGOP).  She is a Pragmatic Conservative, we need more like that in DC.

State Assembly Districts

Now, welcome to LA!

Here are the Assembly candidates (not all endorsed by RPLAC) and any asterisks means I can vote for them.

AD 36 (Palmdale) -- Suzette Martinez
AD 38 (Santa Clarita) -- Scott Wilk (RPLAC)
AD 43 (Burbank) -- Todd Royal
AD 45 (W. SFV) -- Susan Shelley (RPLAC and she is a good friend. Vote for her!)
AD 46 (Sherman Oaks) Zachary Taylor (RPLAC)
AD 48 (West Covina) Joe Gardner (RPLAC)
AD 49 (Monterey Park) Estrela Siergist (RPLAC)
AD 50 (MY District) Brad Torgan (RPLAC) Vote for this guy, he rocks!*
AD 52 (Ontario) Dorothy Pineda (RPLAC)
AD 54 (Culver City) Glen Ratcliff
AD 55 (Diamond Bar) Ling-Ling Chang
AD 57 (Whittier) Rita Topalian (RPLAC)
AD 62 (Inglewood) Ted Grose (RPLAC)
AD 63 (South Gate) Adam Miller (RPLAC)
AD 66 (Torrance) David Hadley (RPLAC)
AD 70 (Long Beach) John Goya (RPLAC)

SD 18 (SFV) Ricardo Benitez (RPLAC)
SD 20 (Ontario) Matthew Munson (RPLAC)
SD 24 (East LA) William Morrission (Good friend of mine, please vote for him!)
SD 32 (Whittier) Mario Guerra (RPLAC)
SD 34 (Huntington Beach) Janet Nguyen (RPLAC)

And we return to the Big Map for a Big State!

OK! My favorite races to follow!

Let's walk in LA to see all the different districts!

CD 23 (Kern)  Rep. Kevin McCarthy (RPLAC)

CD 25 (Santa Clarita/Palmdale) Steve Knight  -- This seat is where "Buck" McKeon is retiring. A lot of hard words and backstabbing is occurring here.  To keep the past in the past (as it were -- more on the dead at another time), I endorse Steve Knight.  (But I will happily work with Tony Strickland if he wins).

CD 26 (Ventura County) Jeff Gorrell (RPLAC)

CD 27 (Pasadena) Jack Orswell (RPLAC)

CD 29 (East SFV) William Leader (RPLAC)

CD 30 (West SFV) Pablo Kleinman -- Another harsh campaign fr a vote rich territory.  My rule remains the same, my choice for the primary, the winner gets my support for the General.  In this heavily Jewish area, Kleinman represents the area well.

CD 32 (West Covina) Arturo Alas (RPLAC) -- I am happy to support him! Go Alas Go!

CD 33 (MY Home district -- Waxman's old district and Reagan's home district)
Elan Carr.  No one else matters.  He is legit, his campaign is strong and no amount of re-districting should make any seat safe for any party.  The House is still going to be Majority Republican.  If the Westside and Beverly Hills want a voice, vote Carr!*

CD 37 (Culver City) Adam King (RPLAC)

CD 39 (Fullerton) Rep. Ed Royce (RPLAC)

CD 43 (Inglewood) John Wood (RPLAC)

CD 47 (Long Beach) Andy Whallon (RPLAC)

And finally, here comes the Judges! (AL RPLAC endorsed)

Office #61 LA County Dayan Matthai
Office #76 LA County Allison Matsumura Estrada
Office #87 LA County Steven Schreiner
Office #107 LA County Joan Chrostek
Office #117 LA County Judge James Pierce
Office #138 LA County Donna Hollingsworth Armstrong
Office #157 LA County Andrew Cooper
Office #157 LA County Arnold Mednick

See you at the voting booth!

California Primary 2014 Endorsement Post #1: Tops of the Ticket

Let's take it from the Top and move down ticket.

First some music:

***These are individual endorsements. These endorsements are not from any Organization from which I am a member.  They are mine, and mine alone.  Asterisks are those Ballots that I can vote for. Enjoy the ride!****

Notes:
RPLAC is Republican County of Los Angeles County;
CRA is the California Republican Assembly (From the Right); and
RLC is the Republican Liberty Caucus (Libertarian and Ron Paul supporters)

Governor's Race:  Assemblyman Tim Donnally (Endorsed by RPLAC, CRA, RLC)*
This race has caused a little chaos down among the activists; But for me, it is the Honorifics in front of Mr. Donnally's name that helps. He has run campaigns, he has moved among the ground forces.

In the battle between Establishment DC Republicans vs. Local Control, Donnally has taken the time to work the Ground.  Kashkari flew in with his funds and DC backing.  As we saw with Meg Whitman and Governor Romney, that is not enough.

Lt. Governor: Ron Nehring (RPLAC, CRA)*
I have known Chairman Nehring on and off since SUNY-Stonybrook.  He is a solid leader and would be the best person in Sacramento to keep Gov. Brown (D) in check if he wins; And he can help Gov. Donnally (R) if he wins. In other words, the Valley calls voting for Nehring a win-win!

Secretary of State: Pete Peterson (RPLAC, CRA)*
This is the race where California Democratic Party hypocrisy was exposed in Assemblyman Leland Yee.  (Follow the links for the whole story)

With a Democrat, a former GOP now a NPP [No Party Preference] candidate, all that is left is Pete Peterson. When you go NPP as a candidate, I think "Someone who stands for nothing, etc." As an active partisan, you understand the system then you make it better.

AG: Former State Senator Phillip Wyman (Endorsed by RPLAC, CRA) *

Treasurer: Greg Conlon *

Controller: Mayor Ashley Swearengen (Endorsed by RPLAC, CRA)*

Superintendent of Public Instruction: Lydia Gutierrez (RPLAC, CRA) She is a dedicated school teacher and a friend of mine.  This one I want you to pull the lever for. *

Insurance Commissioner: State Senator Ted Gaines (RPLAC, CRA)*

Now the Tops of the Los Angeles Ticket (after a musical Interlude):

Prop 41:  Yes (in theory), No (due to reality). *
With the spotlight (finally) on Veteran and VA problems, the calling for Bonds for Housing is good.

California can handle the first half (raising the funds) of the equation easy, but when it comes down to following through, I need only drive by Skid Row or walk along Santa Monica Promenade and Venice beach to know of promises broken by the State (including the Federal Mammon).

I endorse the idea, but the follow through failing again does not bring me hope.

Prop 42:  Yes, yes and YES! *
Local Governments (City and State) are the closest to the people.  If there is no way to keep our local candidates honest, within a one Party system, an Assemblyman Leland Yee appears saying one thing ("Guns are bad,") and doing another (Gun smuggling with criminals)

What our officials say in the Governmental sphere is important.  It is who they are.

Sheriff -- The only legitimate "R" is corrupt; so I had to find a candidate who is not corrupt who errs on the side of treating "Law and Order," by the book: I endorse Bob Olmstead. *

Assessor -- I endorse wholeheartedly (since I have met him many, many times): John Morris (RPLAC)*.
He will clean out the corrupt office of the assessor.  While he might be a prosecuter, he can delegate and has a good sense of who is right and honest.  Both LA papers (the Times and the News) Endorsed him as well.

Finally, who is in charge of tax collecting? Meet your Board of Supervisor member:

District 2  -- George Runner (RPLAC, CRA)*

A Flickering Light.....The Valley slowly turns ON!

For the past 85 weeks or the past year and a half, my situ is not conducive to Blogging.

However, there is a Foreshadowing of good news ahead (of which I cannot write until much later), but suffice to say, the Valley will be active again.  I still follow news, blogs and databases, but I cannot write about them until the Chess Piece that moved 85 weeks ago moves into a better position on the Board.

In less then a week is the California Primary (yay! But Damn Prop 14!) so tonight I will Blog Endorsements from the Governor's race to the Assembly races in Los Angeles (with a note to CA-52 in San Diego because some partisans forgot Reagan's 11th Commandment).

Since I am now engrossed in a Weird West/Sci-Fi/Alternate History/Apocalyptic Comic Book called East of West (Starring Death and the Three other Horsemen - yes, THOSE Horsemen), let's watch a 1971 movie called Red Sun starring Charles Bronson which bring elements of Samurai and Cowboys together.

First some music by the upcoming band Nostalghia,

Now, Red Sun

Why Henry Waxman Retired (Or Why JSF's Writing in the Valley is always Right)

This is a David and Goliath story, or even a Cinderella Story.....

This is the story of how Yours Truly toppled a Congressman.

During the Bloomfield v. Waxman race, circa 2012, I did some research and found out for over a decade, Rep. Waxman has NOT lived in the Southland, but in South Maryland.

In the corrupt world of pragmatic politics, you can be a few blocks/miles away from your district (unless your district covers a lot of miles) and be forgiven; But you cannot live outside the State.  It says it, right in the US Constitution:

Article 1, Clause 2:
No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.

Hence this post.

(With major help from Instapundit!)

And today, Rep Waxman retires.

If you are a Republican seeking this seat, contact me or other members of the 50th Assembly District ASAP.

If you have a good background, you can win.  This is what I do.

One Lone Blogger (JSF) vs. the Waxman Machine

My question: What is your David and Goliath story?

Thanks Blackmailers Don't Shoot!

Resolutions 2014

As the sands of 2013 roll out, let me at least tell you some goals I have for 2014.

I got into Pragmatic Politics as a means of getting things done. There is a reason I read Sun Tzu "The Art of War," and have studied up on Chess again; I know where I stand ideologically and have fought to defend it against my own on the Right and the Left.  I want my ideas and ideals made real, that requires many tools.

One of which is waiting for a personal Chess piece to move.  Once that Chess piece moves (and makes my life a little easier), the writing will flow again.

First some resolutions.....

  1. Fix my teeth and fix my eyes -- it will upgrade some charisma points;
  2. Go swimming in a local Gym -- I have a belly, time for it to exit.  And swimming doesn't feel like exercise, just Zen.
  3. Drink some more V8 again.  Quick health in a drink;
  4. Write off-blog -- either non-fiction or fiction as a book. A smart Muse I know is published and I read her book.  That inspired me.
  5. Find some steady writing and/or analysis gig;
  6. Keep cleaning -- I have lots of books and lots of clutter to clean; and
  7. Take a class in Stage Acting.  Why? For what I need in the Political realm, I need to learn how to walk into a room and hold it. Watch any Shakespeare play and understand.
Now, the goals:
  1.   Find a Muse.
  2. Travel back to Washington, DC for a class at the Leadership Institutre and visit friends on Capitol Hil and around the Beltway;
  3. Rise within RPLAC and the CAGOP;
  4. Take a trip to see San Diego again; Politics, beaches and Filippi's Pizza Grotto!
  5. Meet Stan Lee; I would love to have a date with the beautiful Bai Ling, and ride a sailboat on the Pacific Ocean facing the Southland coast.
  6. Run for an election if a spot opens around here (a low position, I'm not running for Mayor anytime soon); and
  7. Stay close to my friends and family.  Without them, I could not write for you.

Thanks for reading.  I should be back to the Valley very soon.

3,143 Counties, 3 Large States, and 64 Squares: Reform, Restructure and Ressurection

To:  Mrs. Dhillon, Vice Chair, CRP; Mr. Steel, National Committeeeman and Mr. Priebus, RNC Chair;
CC: Chairman Vafiades, RPLAC; Glenn Reynolds, Instapundit; Robert McCain, The Other McCain, Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit, Gary Aminoff, and Lilian Cavalieri, iPrecinct CEO

BCC: Karv and Todd (My mentors from the Hill)

RE: Reform, Restructure and Resurrection

The Stakes We Play For Every Election

As someone who studies History, I wonder why Our Republican Establishment ignores it;
As someone who has been in and out of Politics since I was 15, I see Our Republican Establishment have forgot  strategies to win, not just in Presidential years, but every year.

And Our Republican Establishment forgets we are in a Two Front War, not just against the Democrats, but their Media Sympathizers.

There are Three Large States to get to 270:
The GOP only owns TX (38 EV + 36 Congressional Seats);

The Democrats own Two of the Three:
New York (29 EV + 27 Congressional Seats); and
California (55 EV + 53 Congressional Seats).

Can anyone play this game?

As of June 26th, 2013, The Democrats are going for a triple play and are working on getting a "Blue Texas,"  Thus, we have the GOP's ONLY big state on defense.

Do you want to change the odds?
Does the RNC, NRSC and NRCC to have a great ROI come Election Time? Every time?

I can play this game, so follow me.

1: Red Kings vs. Blue Knights: Policy Making And Optics

We Need to Fight the Barbarians (The Media) or Rome is Lost

Sometimes, we have to silence the Dragon.

The GOP has many different philosophies and regions.

When the RNC came to Hollywood and Highland and then fell back when the Social Conservatives threatened to withhold funding, you just lost 55 EV's.

Again.

Now, as we gear up for 2014, the Social Conservatives are leading Abortion Battles around the Country.  Yay for them, but it is killing any chance of opening the Franchise.

Again.

If you are fighting a Two Front War, you don't invade Russia at the end of Fall.  These Abortion Battles play into the Media's hands just as they turned two Moderate POTUS candidates (McCain and Romney) into wild eyed SOCIAL Conservatives.

The RINO's and Moderates cannot make friends in the MSM, they must make friends among the "Local Yokels" and the Right Bloggers-Fox-Talk Radio AlliesThe lesson's of McCain/Romney should be heard. It should be crystal clear that we cannot trust the Washington/New York Media Establishment.

If you still do, your name is Michael Murphy or David Frum.

Right now, the Social Conservatives, RINO's and Moderates all need to focus on winning MORE states first before eating the rest of the Pie.

And to win Policy battles, State and National figures must play another dimension of Chess:

How Every Policy Maker in the GOP Should Play. D's + Media v. GOP

How will the Media spin it?

2. 64 Squares, Bishops, Knights and Rooks: The Practical Tools we Already Have

Out of Three Big States, we can defend one (TX);

One is far beyond our calling despite the joke their State Democratic Party has become. Why?

The NYGOP could not stop Senator Clinton.  A big state and no actual candidates to run against Goliath? In the largest Media Market in the world, why can't the NYGOP write a Narrative to win?

Because they have none.

If the NYGOP wants to get in the game, they need to tell the rest of the country which cities (and counties) are winnable and why.  Until then, the RNC, NRSC and the NRCC should back the THIRD Big State:

California.

You don't need to fight everywhere.

Fund the Los Angeles County Republican Party; Fund the 17 GOP Assembly District Committees and Fund every candidate in every city in the Southland.

Los Angeles flips, so does California. And that is now TWO Large States.

What tools do we have to win?

First, every Election Committee should use iPrecinct -- thus the day to day groundwork will get done. Speak to my friend Lillian if you want to win.  (And this goes to every State and County Party too! Use this tool!)

Second, Bloggers can battle the Narrative used by the Media and the Democrats. If you wish to fight an Election Campaign or Policy Battle, I have the Blogger scars (as do most of my Blogger friends) to prove it.; And

Third: STOP WITH HIRING CONSULTANTS WHO DON'T KNOW THE GROUND. HIRE LOCAL YOKELS INSTEAD.

Now, to conclude:

3. Winning the Endgame

There is no excuse why our Executive Members are not building a short, medium, and long term strategy plans.  The best plan ahead but allow room for improvisation. They should carry a Chess board everywhere they fly. Think Blade Runner.

We are fighting a Two Front War and what has the RNC done to help the troops on the 'Net or on the Ground?

If we refuse to fight and win the Two Front War, shut down our offices on First Street, SE and call ourselves "Whigs,"

I expect better from our Chairs and Establishment Republicans.
I expect better from the Social Conservatives in other states.

Also, we cannot have Reagan's Eleventh Commandment broken by Consultants. They must sign a Loyalty Oath that lasts 20 years for each campaign (again, Frum and Murphy still rankle).

Governor Palin should not have been Media Raped by Andrew Sullivan and others. Where was Romney?

If the Establishment Republicans fire on our own people, we in the States and in the Right Blogosphere should have every Right to take over all Four Floors of the RNC/NRCC until attitudes change.

Do not doubt us.

If you want to win in 2014 and beyond, we are fighting here in Los Angeles: Join us.

My question:  How can the GOP win in the Two Front War?

The Modern Democrats: Following in Watergate's Footsteps

Watch this:

Now read this:

Article 2

Using the powers of the office of President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in disregard of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has repeatedly engaged in conduct violating the constitutional rights of citizens, impairing the due and proper administration of justice and the conduct of lawful inquiries, or contravening the laws governing agencies of the executive branch and the purposed of these agencies.

This conduct has included one or more of the following:

2. He misused...by directing or authorizing such agencies or personnel to conduct or continue electronic surveillance or other investigations for purposes unrelated to national security, the enforcement of laws, or any other lawful function of his office; he did direct, authorize, or permit the use of information obtained thereby for purposes unrelated to national security, the enforcement of laws, or any other lawful function of his office; and he did direct the concealment of certain records made by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of electronic surveillance.

(Nixon Impeachment Articles)
[All 21 Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee voted for Article 2, section 2 in 1974]

Yesterday, David Corn thought it was fine to release a private conversation within Senator McConnell's campaign office.

Hmmm....I also remember this illegal taping in the 90's of Speaker Gingrich.  Because it benefited the Democrats, no one said it was wrong. (That requires....principles).

It seems that modern Democrats like secret wars and enemies lists. The only Lefty Blogger who got it was Steve M. and I quote:

But McConnell -- until now a hack with a 36% approval rating in his very red state -- now gets to be what he hasn't managed to be, given that he's an Establishment figure in a tea-besotted party: he gets to be a martyr/hero, a victim of evil liberalism. That's catnip to GOP voters.

And let's not forget going after Senator McConnell's wife either.  When I was a Democrat, that was an Event Horizon.  Since the Impeachment of Nixon, everything about the GOP members (family, backgrounds, for any further example, look at the misogyny shown at Palin, Sarah) is fair game.

I wonder why Mother Jones did not look at Kentucky's wiretapping laws:

526.010
Definition. The following definition applies in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: "Eavesdrop" means to overhear, record, amplify or transmit any part of a wire or oral communication of others without the consent of at least one (1) party thereto by means of any electronic, mechanical or other device.
Effective:January 1, 1975
History: Created 1974 Ky. Acts ch.406, sec. 226, effective January 1, 1975.

Oh, and its a felony to do this.

It's safe to say that the Democrats have gone full [Richard] Nixon in the new Millennium.

My question: Why are the Democrats hypocrites on Wiretapping?

The Scouring of the Shire (LA Primary Election 2012 Edition)

Unwelcome Return by Alan Lee
Now it's time.

The final numbers are coming in from LA Votes and 6 of 7 of my friends made it into the 50th GOP Assembly District Committee.

However, in an ironic situation, I won, but the PaulBots have run through RPLAC (mostly in the San Fernando Valley), knocking out three of my friends -- Sue Abato, Val Cymbal and Nancy Spero. And they forced out Chairman Hauter and her husband from the next cycle. They took 47 seats throughout the County.

Hence, in my fight against Democrats (and Establishment Republicans who don't give money to RPLAC or CAGOP), I now have to focus on my home ground for competency.  PaulBots are not known for their people skills.

The PaulBots targeted the Establishment and the Ground Level Republicans (and they are also doing it around the country).

Thing is, this is the third attack on RPLAC by the PaulBots.

1) A lawsuit against the Barnett Board during Election 2010 -- when we could have won. The Paul people have never apologized or conceded that they did wrong.

2) Cheating during a CAGOP Convention by double booking people to win a straw poll; and finally

3) One of the PaulBots, Dani Rasconi,  who was already in a Central Committee, happily produced an Anti-Israel video. Mind you, Los Angeles, has the second biggest population of Jews in the United States. (New York City being first). That's put her in alliance with KPFK, a progressive radio station.

Progressives on KPFK  Republican or Libertarian

Yet most PaulBots choose to follow Progressives rather then Republicans.

PaulBots = Progresives and Obama Supporters

I've been in the Republican party longer then Ron Paul at this date.  I switched from Democrat to Republican in 1992 and never switched anywhere else.  Paul jumped from Republican to Libertarian to Republican again (and expected to win after attacking President Reagan in 2011).  Like Mordor, one does not come back in and expect to be Leader.

As someone who is able to campaign among the LA Goth scene, here is hint Paul people: They are like me, Social Libertarians, but you mention being a Paul supporter, and they think you are nuts.  Paul's isolationism and attacks on the Federal Reserve do not show "Truth to Power," they show craziness.

When I move from the Goth scene to RPLAC, I am listened at both places because, I want Republicans (especially Social Libertarians) to win and I understand what my friends in both clubs are looking for in their politicians.

Even though I am probabaly playing Sam Gamgee in my loyalty to my mentors and RPLAC, here are a few things I expect from Paul Supporters now operating in RPLAC and again, after December:

Defeating Saruman (Paul) in Los Angeles or the Battle of Bywater
I) Raise funds for RPLAC or you will not have any candidate victories.  Don't act like PaulBots, act like Republicans when it comes to raising funds.  Anyone can look at that poster in the middle and wonder, why should any funds be given to people who couldn't support the Republican 2012 Presidential candidate?

II) Do NOT make supporting Paul a litmus test for any activist or candidate -- you subtract more then you gain. And as a so called "neo-con" who is a Social Libertarian, I have read the Constitution too -- so have others. Do not insult Local Republicans or there will be no support outside of your own circles. Politics is about building coalitions not subtracting the less pure (which is why we on the Right have a shot against President Obama this year.)

III) Back in the early to mid 2000's, there was a corrupt couple running RPLAC -- the Boyds.  They are gone now.  Don't complain about what isn't and create something lasting so that even non-Paul supporters can support RPLAC.   And don't act arrogant.

My question: Do Paul Supporters have RPLAC's best interest in mind? Why or why not?
