Listen to this:
The Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. reminded America of a basic Human truth, as written in the Declaration of Independence: All Men are Created Equal.
His words became an idea that passed from his own people to the General Public; That idea spread to the pathways of power and created (with help from Republicans and Liberal Democrats): The XXIV Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1965.
Words create; A lack of vision is not a reason for power (just ask President George H.W. Bush or Senator Hillary Clinton), dreams inspire.
45 years from the "I have a Dream" speech, Senator Obama has a good chance of living Reverend King's Dream.
I leave you with the words from Lawrence of Arabia:
"Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to
find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible."
