Bloggers vs. Establishment GOP or Bloggers as Establishment GOP (CAGOP first!)

The guy whom I call the Elvis of the Right Blogosphere, Dan Riehl has been discussing on his Blog about the roles of Bloggers and the Role of the RNC with the Bloggers.  It starts with this post. 

And I quote:

A big part of my thinking in coming to DC was to try and help to create a synergy between the Right on-line and the establishment GOP. I had hoped to forestall anything like an insurgency from the Right by finding common ground. What I didn't realize is that today's GOP is interested in no such thing. It can't hear anyone outside the Beltway echo chamber and isn't interested in listening to them even if they could.

And I don't believe today's Beltway entrenched GOP is going to bring about the kind of change America needs. The leadership is weak, wasteful, misguided and out of sync with the people. The signs are all there, from Dede Scozzafava, to Charlie Crist - and worse

To which I reply, as someone who knows the Capitol Hill and worked in the basement of the Republican National Committee [RNC], the game is not played from National figure to national figure, but (something I should have known in 96 and 98), from locality to National.  Power in DC does not emanate from the Beltway, but from the towns and cities back home.
 
As someone active in the LA Goth scene (and LA GOP Political scene), there are comparisons to be made.  The club I frequent nowadays is RUIN (on Saturday nights), dropping Bar Sinister from the places I go.  I discussed the difference between the two here.  I dropped Bar Sin because it lost some of their original crew, and they catered more to the tourists (to the scene and those to Los Angeles), then RUIN or Malediction.  Another club on Fridays also caters to the 18 and over crowd on Pico called Das Bunker, but only Goths show up, again no tourists. 
 
What does that mean for Bloggers and Establishment GOP? 
 
We Bloggers are those who can say to the public what is good and bad about our candidates, the issues and how to win.  Which club is better and why is the general tone of what we do.
 
On July 4th, my ex, Toni, and I went to a major shindig with Los Angeles County.  The host did not really get the new media, but major figures within LA County do (and see the potential of the Southland Fundraiser/Great Right Wing Hollywood Blogger Meet Up). Since last year, I have been dealing (along with Robert Stacy McCain and Gary Aminoff, first VP of LAGOP) with the California Republican party about putting on the event. 
 
Every person, at every level I have interviewed with, likes the concept of putting Bloggers (as credentialed reporters) with candidates and activists (or Sun Tzu's Ordinary forces + extraordinary forces).  I am planning to meet Chairman Nehring before this month is out.  I am dealing with Mr. Ryan Panzerello, deputy Political director to help glide me down that path. 
 
How does a simple Blogger with a plan end up meeting and influencing the Establishment GOP (within California)?
 
Before we answer that question, let's see what Dan wrote later:
 
Herein lies the dirty little secret of why the GOP is slow to actually empower the grassroots and conservative movement. It's also why, in some measure, we can no longer rely on the so called Beltway conservative establishment. Just like Republicans, they've come to rely on corporate money, allowing them to drive a large part of their agenda.


Republicans On Energy: More Pro-Business Than Pro-Market.

The grassroots and conservative movement are genuine free marketers and capitalists. The beltway establishment, GOP and otherwise, is corporatist. This is also one reason why you have so called Reagan Democrats. There are other factors, too. But as long as Republicans so often side with corporations over the working man and small businesses to some extent, Right-leaning more people-powered movements will distrust them. And it is all about the money for the GOP in the end.

Relying on the Beltway folks to change their spots is like waiting for Woodward and Bernsteins to show up in major papers during Democratic administrations. Hint: They won't, unless pushed from outside.  It is why the Tea Party movement is changing the debate on the Hill and in campaigns, they are everywhere. 

Now, back to the question.

My late father was a salesman, and he always believed in two things:

1) Always start where you stand; and
2) Bring something to the table. 

Party structures (and candidates) are always looking for funds and publicity  Without the first, they cannot focus on the second. The Southland Fundraiser brings both funds and publicity together.  But because Establishment is always wary of trying new things (remember, I've been pushing this since last November), the Tea Partiers and Bloggers remain on the outside looking in. 

The concept of Not Invented Here is not just a corporate term, but can been seen in the Political Sphere too. Because I came from an established club (The San Fernando Valley Republican Club) and had a mentor/sponsor of the idea (Politics still works Old School), I managed to break through. 

I started where I stood.  The San Fernando Valley is my home, so is Los Angeles.  After I wrote the California Encyclicals, Gary Aminoff found me. 

What every Blogger should do, is get to know their local GOP clubs and Central Committees, and if time and distance permits, their County clubs too.  Don't just figure in publicity, but figure out other ways to expand your club (or committee's) reach.  Funds matter.  Knowing your County history and voting numbers also matter. 

We Bloggers (and tea Partiers) have not broken into establishment yet.  Once I get hired by Chairman Nehring, I will be the first Blogger and Tea Partier to represent.  It takes New Media to understand New media. It is the difference between being a Bar Sinister where no Goths go anymore to being Ruin, where the crowds grow bigger. 

To make the RNC understand Bloggers and Tea Partiers, we have to crack County and State levels first. By the time of Election 2012 and 2014, we will become the establishment.

Every July 4th, I re-read Patriots by A.J. Langutth.  He descibes the whole of the Revolutionary War, from Otis to victory at Yorktown, and everything in between.  But this year, I added Decision in Philadelphia by Christopher Collier and James Lincoln Collier about the Constitutional Convention of 1787. 

Great men wrote our founding papers.  As Americans, let us all be proud. 

First, Patriots:

"When members of the [Continental] Congress came to Jefferson's stirring conclusion, a majority thought it should include one last appeal to the power even greater then George III....They did not meddle with Jefferson's last oath, more solemn than anything they might devise:

"'And for support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortune and our sacred honor'

"On July 4, 1776, independence was declared in language worthy of it."

Doctor Who: Revenge of the Cybermen and The Eleventh Hour

It's July 4th weekend! I'm going to do a post tomorrow celebrating the holiday.

In other news, the Southland Fundraiser is being dealt with by Ryan Panzerello at the CAGOP (with an eye on him by Chairman Nehring) and Mr. Darius Ameri of Meg Whitman's Los Angeles team.  Add in Robert Stacy McCain and Gary Aminoff and there is a lot of serious people making sure it gets off the ground.

I'm ready to start, I just await the news.

This Thing of Ours: Ezra Klein as Uncle Junior

Let's get into the mood to discuss Dave Weigal, Ezra Klein Dan Riehl, R.S McCain and the "JournoList," (discussed here previously):



Last week, it was discovered  that Dave Weigal, a Blogger for the Washington Post who wrote about Conservatives, also attacked Conservatives on the JournoList.  He was fired immediately and it hit  Memorandum quickly. The private face was different from his public face, thus he got fired. 

During that time, Robert McCain (The Hunter S. Thompson of the Right Blogosphere) defended Weigal, and Dan Riehl (The Elvis of the Right Blogosphere) called him on it (a few times). Even the great Blogress, Ann Althouse (the Gothy Law Professor) had some dealings with the Journolisters.  Before we discuss the role of the Right Blogosphere with both the GOP establishment and those who are elected officials (i.e. The Southland Fundraiser post will be written tomorrow night), let's look at sins of Ezra Klein.

Remember watching the early "good" (Seasons 1-3) seasons of The Sopranos?  Before they gave Tony Soprano a conscience and Middle Class airs?  Tony used to talk about "This thing of ours," that the regular folk did not understand the rules to. 

Uncle Junior had power by default because he waited his turn (and then Tony took over and Junior became leader in name only).  Ezra Klein is like Uncle Junior. Andrew Breitbart is offering $100,000 for the Listserv, and as a commenter on Althouse put it:

Just occurred to me: the more innocuous the contents, the faster someone will grab the offer.
As of 10PM PST, no one has stepped forward to collect. But Jonathan Chait of The New Republic and Matthew Yglasias of Center for American Progress say "Nothing happened," Who are you going to believe?  

Ezra Klein has youth whereas Uncle Junior was fading.  But youthful arrogance can be a dangerous thing (I speak from experience).  When you are in the business of disseminating information about the Government and its players [i.e Reporters], and then have everyone speak in with the same theme (again, Rush Limbaugh does it continually on his show), questions will arise. 

If there is collusion (especially during election year 08), then there damn well better be (when the Republicans take the over Congress in 11) a Congressional inquiry about who had their hands on the scale of getting out information on both candidates.  If Klein is smart, he will lawyer up tomorrow and quit the Washington Post before his employers get subpoenas (and when I am up on the Hill, they will). 


To stop all the questions about Journolist, all Klein has to do is release all the info written there to Wikileaks.   If leaking against the Bush administration is good for the New York Times, it is even better when it is done by our so-called "watchers,"   Choose quickly Ezra or you may find yourself in Chickentown.   

 And Dan Riehl and Robert McCain? Hey, I defended the Hevesi's and Chartier's (major Dem figures in NYC) because they are my friends, Robert gets the same slack. However, Riehl is right that the GOP have no clue (on a national level) how to work with Bloggers.  But I have an answer. Meanwhile, I hope you both (Dan and Robert) talk this over a beer at Armands Pizza. Stay tuned. 

My question: If the 400 reporters on Journolist affected the outcome of Election 08, should Ezra Klein go to jail?

The Community Organizer and The General

[Sorry this is late, but Life intervened.]

How big is the General McChrystal story? (Click the link at memeorandum to see) It was so big, that I came out of hiding (thanks to an email) to write about it.

I have never been a Soldier or a Spy (nor Tinker or Tailor), but those who fight on the far reaches away from Civilization have some of the hardest jobs. Those who work in Executive branch must know the factors (historical and current) and the players, before any decision is made.

General McChrystal supported Senator Obama in 08, he was sold on the rhetoric of Obama doing better then Bush too. Allow me to quote Lex Luthor one more time: WRONG!

What was Obama's experience? He was a community Organizer who became a State Senator who lucked into a US Senate seat. His only competition in 08 came from Hillary! not from McCain (which is why he deserves to lose his primary in AZ).

What does a Community Organizer do?
"Community organizing is a long-term approach where the people affected by an issue are supported in identifying problems and taking action to achieve solutions. The organizer challenges those he or she works with to change the way things are—it is a means of achieving social change through collective action by changing the balance of power. The tactics and strategies employed by the organizer are similar to the processes of leadership including timing the issue, deliberate planning, getting the attention of the populace, framing the issue in terms of the desired solution, and shaping the terms of the decision-making process,"

In other words, someone who builds a short coalition to get something for a poor neighborhood, then leaves the neighborhood as is.And here are "qualities," of a good community Organizer:

Community organizers think strategically about their work while always keeping the final goal in mind and continually making contributions to the goal. This is especially important in community organizing campaigns to enact or change policies. Qualities include:
• Imagination • Sense of Humor
• Blurred vision of a better world• An organized personality
• Strong ego/sense of oneself• A free, open mind, and political relativity
• Ability to create the new out of the old ( Saul Alinsky, 1971)


Nothing there about putting together long term goals or helping people to help themselves. Time to focus on General McChrystal does in Afghanistan. (according to the Rolling Stone article)First, Afghanistan. Throughout the Bush years, the Democrats yelled that Afghanistan was the "Good war," now that Democrats run everything, the Truth will out: They Lied.

President Obama is called by the chattering class as a "Political genius," but he got played by McCrystal. The quotes in the Rolling Stone article did not get there by accident:

"One soldier shows me the list of new regulations the platoon was given. "Patrol only in areas that you are reasonably certain that you will not have to defend yourselves with lethal force," the laminated card reads. For a soldier who has traveled halfway around the world to fight, that's like telling a cop he should only patrol in areas where he knows he won't have to make arrests. "Does that make any fucking sense?" asks Pfc. Jared Pautsch. "We should just drop a fucking bomb on this place. You sit and ask yourself: What are we doing here?"

"The rules handed out here are not what McChrystal intended – they've been distorted as they passed through the chain of command – but knowing that does nothing to lessen the anger of troops on the ground. "Fuck, when I came over here and heard that McChrystal was in charge, I thought we would get our fucking gun on," says Hicks, who has served three tours of combat. "I get COIN. I get all that. McChrystal comes here, explains it, it makes sense. But then he goes away on his bird, and by the time his directives get passed down to us through Big Army, they're all fucked up – either because somebody is trying to cover their ass, or because they just don't understand it themselves. But we're fucking losing this thing."

This comes back to the idea that half-term Senators with no Executive experience should ever be President. Afghanistan is a place where chaos has ruled for over 25 years. And President Obama with his Ivy education thinks he can tame the ground?

Community Organizers make small areas better; Generals work on larger grounds. I speak as one who knows, Sun Tzu beats Alinsky every time.

When President Obama handed the reigns of Afghanistan to General Petreaus, President Bush's Iraq strategy (Wilsonianism defeats Terrorism) willed out. And I now send a question to my Liberal readers, What is President Obama's long term strategy for Afghanistan?

President Obama cannot even fix an Oil spill, how does he think he can negotiate with tribes?

My question: What would be your Long Term strategy for Afghanistan? Timelines until November 2012.

I'm Alright

How many times do you get an email that ends in CIA.gov that asks for you to come back to writing? That happened to me today. I've been dealing with health and other issues, but I'm back!

It seems I have a few readers who do "work in the shadows," So first, thank you. I was alerted to the big news of today, since I'm on Pacific Time, I usually hear about it after. That's the next post.

Now, while I am a partisan of the Right, a guy who understands Policy, and a Jewish Goth (grooving instead of working in the dark), let me say if you need anything leaked or the public to understand something that the DC Intelligence Community cannot do, let the Valley be that safe haven.

Holding Patterns

The Primary was last Tuesday, yet some votes are still being counted here in the LA basin.

I interviewed last Thursday Morning with Ryan Panzarello at the California Republican Party Magnolia Office, I am waiting on a phone call this week.

So, before I break down the wins and losses in Los Angeles, there is still some work to be done. The work is tomorrow, the breakdown is later. I have to bite my tongue a bit on some of the winners (Only ONE), but once the work is done, then I talk.

As far as the Southland Fundraiser/Great Right Wing Hollywood Blogger Meet Up is concerned, I am tanned, rested and ready to start. "Put me in coach [Chairman Nehring], I am ready to play, today."

Fires in the Blogosphere

I will get to my take on Los Angeles candidates on Monday or Tuesday, other news is occurring as well. Be ready.

First up, my friend, the lovely and talented Pamela Geller is having trouble with her PayPal (see the sidebar for the Valley's). here is what she wrote in her post:

Let's look at Fareed Zakharia. During the Bush Administration, he wrote things like this:

"In the past two weeks President Bush has, for the first time, started describing America's adversaries as part of "a single movement," "a worldwide network," with a common ideology. He notes that these groups come from different traditions but concludes that what unites them--their hatred of free societies--is more important. This kind of rhetoric does have the benefit of making the adversary seem larger and more sinister, thereby drumming up domestic support for the administration's policies, but it comes at great cost,"

And here is what Fareed Zakharia wrote about Governor Palin:

"Can we now admit the obvious? Sarah Palin is utterly unqualified to be vice president. She is a feisty, charismatic politician who has done some good things in Alaska. But she has never spent a day thinking about any important national or international issue, and this is a hell of a time to start. The next administration is going to face a set of challenges unlike any in recent memory. There is an ongoing military operation in Iraq that still costs $10 billion a month, a war against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan that is not going well and is not easily fixed. Now let's visit Andrew Sullivan (and his silent partner, Conor Friedersdorf):

I don't think, if this is all true, that Bush therefore lied about WMDs. He was just guilty of professional negligence and criminal blindness on the most important decision a president can ever make. And how can we forget Andrew Sullivan on Palin:

And Helen Thomas on Palin:

"In addition to her lack of experience, Palin -- governor of Alaska for two years -- carries a lot of unexpected baggage: Bristol, her 17-year-old unmarried pregnant daughter, plus a gubernatorial ethics problem for ordering a public safety commissioner to sack her ex-brother-in-law who had been involved in a divorce battle with her sister. Palin also has some explaining to do about her good-government image because she has simultaneously deplored special interest congressional funding called ``earmarks’’ while hiring lobbyists to seek millions in federal funds for her town in Alaska,"

Here is the biggest clue of all, study it -- This is Fareed Zakaria talking to the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations on CNN, August 16, 2009:

ZAKARIA: Your foreign minister, on the other hand, has at various points -- Avigdor Lieberman -- said that he thinks that they should move there, or some large number of them should, and has in some cases seemed to suggest that he favored the ethnic cleansing of parts of Israel, to move certain Palestinians into the -- certain Arabs, Israeli Arabs into the Palestinian territories.
OREN: He has never spoken of ethnic cleansing, to the best of my knowledge. He has never spoken of...
ZAKARIA: He said moving them...
OREN: ... moving them against their will. He's talked about border adjustments.And we all understand that, if there ever is to be a treaty ending this conflict, there's going to have to be an exchange of territories, that some territories are going to find themselves under Palestinian sovereignty, some points under Israeli sovereignty.There have been realities created on the ground, certainly over the 42 years since the 1967 War.

Studying the clues? Now let's see what Andrew Sullivan has to say about the same Country:

I thought ambassador [Oren] were supposed to smoothe over rifts, not inflame them. And I thought they were supposed to speak to the broadest number of citizens in the countries to which they have been appointed, not provide inflammatory rants to the already-persuaded. But this Michael Oren piece in TNR abandons any pretense of diplomatic balance. The premise of Oren's piece is that Israel faces a new Nazism represented by Ahmadinejad and Holocaust deniers but, to an even greater extent, by the South African liberal, Richard Goldstone, and the United Nations. Oren seems to be arguing that Gaza was a war of survival for the Jewish state and that Israel had no choice but to launch a war that killed, by one conservative Israeli count, 320 children, destroyed 4,000 homes, and up to 80 government buildings. Even if one is sympathetic to the horrific barrage of Hamas rockets that Israeli citizens endured (and what decent human being wouldn't be?) - every single rocket being a war crime - it helps no one to use language this extreme or to distort history in this manner.

Because Sullivan, Zakharia, and Thomas are Liberals who attacked President Bush and Governor Palin, (and Sullivan and Zakharia went to Ivies so they must be smart! /sarc) they were also free to attack Jews and the State of Israel.

Conor Friedersdorf is supposedly half-Jewish and he could have stood up to Sullivan, but he doesn't care.

Fareed Zakharia edits the International Newsweek and has a show on CNN on Sunday morning, who will stand up against him?

Helen Thomas was kicked out because she was detrimental to a Democratic Administration. It shouldn't take 40 years to rid the media of Anti-Semitic and Anti-Jewish haters because they sympathize with Progressives in the United States.

My question: What is to be done against Israeli haters Andrew Sullivan and Fareed Zakharia?

State Measures, Assesor, and Central Committee Endorsements 2010

As the ONLY Conservative Republican Jewish Goth Activist (TM), I must finish discharging my duty and give the final Endorsements for the June 8th primary for California.

Let's re-cap:

Governor Endorsement: Steve Poizner;
Six State Level Executive Endorsements;
Senator: Chuck DeVore; and
Congressional Endorsements for all of Los Angeles.

And as one the few States that are run by Public Plebiscite (which is a good thing, let the people speak), here are my endorsements for the State Measures:

Proposition 13: If you own a home, Office Building, etc, that gets fitted to handle earthquakes (an issue on the Western edge of the Republic, North and South) does not allow County assessors to re-asses Property values. Both CAGOP and LAGOP say "No,". I also say "VOTE NO,"

Proposition 14: This proposition changes the way primary (and general) elections work. Instead of two parties choosing their best champion, it allows an open Primary and allows the top two vote getters (even if the same party) to challenge each other in the General. Chairman Nehring opposes this, so does the CRP and the LAGOP. This is simple for me. Primaries for the Party activists or highly active in current events, November for the General populace. It has worked this way in Presidential Elections, why should California break that precedent? VOTE NO.

Proposition 15: Public Funding for candidates? Let's put it this way, if Senator Obama couldn't abide by McCain-Feingold, why should we on the Right not follow his example? Public funding is a fools game (Senator McCain and Senator Dole in their respective elections went by the rule, and both lost). CAGOP, LAGOP and I say "HELL NO!" Plus why put Political Fundraisers out of a job?

Proposition 16: Before any city or State takes over any utilities, the populace of said city or State in California needs a 2/3rd vote in support by the local populace. CAGOP: Yes LAGOP: NO. I say "VOTE YES," The public is always right.

Proposition 17: Makes it easier for Car Insurance companies to work with their customers: CAGOP: YES, LAGOP:YES. I say "VOTE YES,"

Now onto Los Angeles County assessor. There are 13 people running for this job but only one has worked with Chairwoman Barnett and shown up to ask for votes at the SFVRC. He sticks with the principles of Howard Jarvis and will help keep taxes down on homes. I support John Lewis Dortch.

Doctor Who - The Sontaran Experiment

Another in the series of The Fourth Doctor.

Tomorrow afternoon, I will be at a Pro-Israeli Rally starring Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-MN)(also seen will be the Great Gary Aminoff), and tomorrow night, I will Blog my final endorsements.

Thursday, I will be meeting with Ryan Panzerello to discuss the Southland Fundraiser -- please say a prayer that I start work not long after at the Magnolia Office. I have called in my favors; I have a few Los Angeles candidates (all endorsed earlier) that will lobby for it as well. So, again, I need your prayers and support. If you want Peace in the Middle East, Give the land to Israel

Once upon a time, I believed in the Two State Solution for the Palestinians and the Israeli's. Then, with the arrival of the Harold Saxon Presidency in the United States starting in 09, the Triple threat of Iran, Brazil and Turkey working hand in hand, and the flotilla press attack, my mind has changed.


Let's have a little fun in the wayback machine:
The Oslo Accords in 1994 asked Israel to give up the Gaza Strip for "peace," Under President Sharon in 2004, the Israeli settler's were moved out. The Palestinians had the Gaza strip lock, stock and barrel. What did they do with it?

They sent missiles to their neighbor rather then building roads, schools and supermarkets, the Gazan Government attacked. Hamas woke the tiger up in 2008 - 2009 (and of course, Andrew Sullivan had no qualms about the missiles flying into Israel, just the idea of Israel defending itself was obscene in his mind).

With the Obama Administration foreign policy based on Nixonianism (and weakness abroad), other countries filled the vacuum. hence the tri-partate agreement. World War I redux, coming to Gulf states soon.

Now let's look at the current situation:


There are 22 Arab States where the Palestinians can call home. They can get out of the Refugee camps and make their home anywhere. The United Nations contributes to their cause, the United States contributes and Israel contributes.

With all those monies, a stable society could have been built and trade agreements could have been created. But it did not.

Let's read the charter of Hamas:
Article Thirty-Two:
World Zionism, together with imperialistic powers, try through a studied plan and an intelligent strategy to remove one Arab state after another from the circle of struggle against Zionism, in order to have it finally face the Palestinian people only. Egypt was, to a great extent, removed from the circle of the struggle, through the treacherous Camp David Agreement. They are trying to draw other Arab countries into similar agreements and to bring them outside the circle of struggle.

The Islamic Resistance Movement calls on Arab and Islamic nations to take up the line of serious and persevering action to prevent the success of this horrendous plan, to warn the people of the danger eminating from leaving the circle of struggle against Zionism. Today it is Palestine, tomorrow it will be one country or another. The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.

Leaving the circle of struggle with Zionism is high treason, and cursed be he who does that. "for whoso shall turn his back unto them on that day, unless he turneth aside to fight, or retreateth to another party of the faithful, shall draw on himself the indignation of Allah, and his abode shall be hell; an ill journey shall it be thither." (The Spoils - verse 16). There is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion. The alternative is loss of one's country, the dispersion of citizens, the spread of vice on earth and the destruction of religious values. Let every person know that he is responsible before Allah, for "the doer of the slightest good deed is rewarded in like, and the does of the slightest evil deed is also rewarded in like."

The Islamic Resistance Movement consider itself to be the spearhead of the circle of struggle with world Zionism and a step on the road. The Movement adds its efforts to the efforts of all those who are active in the Palestinian arena. Arab and Islamic Peoples should augment by further steps on their part; Islamic groupings all over the Arab world should also do the same, since all of these are the best-equipped for the future role in the fight with the warmongering Jews.

Article (6) UN projects, accords and resolutions, or those of any individual which undermine the Palestinian people's right in their homeland are illegal and rejected.
Article (7) The Zionist Movement is racial, colonial and aggressive in ideology, goals, organisation and method.
Article (8) The Israeli existence in Palestine is a Zionist invasion with a colonial expansive base, and it is a natural ally to colonialism and international imperialism.
Article (9) Liberating Palestine and protecting its holy places is an Arab, religious and human obligation.
Article (10) Palestinian National Liberation Movement, "FATEH", is an independent national revolutionary movement representing the revolutionary vanguard of the Palestinian people.
Article (11) The crowds which participate in the revolution and liberation are the proprietors of the Palestinian land.
Goals
Article (12) Complete liberation of Palestine, and eradication of Zionist economic, political, military and cultural existence.
Article (13) Establishing an independent democratic state with complete sovereignty on all Palestinian lands, and Jerusalem is its capital city, and protecting the citizens' legal and equal rights without any racial or religious discrimination.
Article (14) Setting up a progressive society that warrants people's rights and their public freedom.
Article (15) Active participation in achieving the Arab Nation's goals in liberation and building an independent, progressive and united Arab society.
Article (16) Backing up all oppressed people in their struggle for liberation and self-determination in order to build a just, international peace.
Method
Article (17) Armed public revolution is the inevitable method to liberating Palestine.
Article (18) Entire dependence on the Palestinian people which is the pedestal forefront and on the Arab Nation as a partner in the fight, and realising actual interaction between the Arab Nation and the Palestinian people by involving the Arab people in the fight through a united Arab front.
Article (19) Armed struggle is a strategy and not a tactic, and the Palestinian Arab People's armed revolution is a decisive factor in the liberation fight and in uprooting the Zionist existence, and this struggle will not cease unless the Zionist state is demolished and Palestine is completely liberated.
Article (20) Achieving mutual understanding with all the national forces participating in the armed struggle to attain the national unity.
Article (21) Revealing the revolutionary nature of the Palestinian identity at the international level, and this does not contradict the everlasting unity between the Arab Nation and the Palestinian people.
Article (22) Opposing any political solution offered as an alternative to demolishing the Zionist occupation in Palestine, as well as any project intended to liquidate the Palestinian case or impose any international mandate on its people.
Article (23) Maintaining relations with Arab countries with the objective of developing the positive aspects in their attitudes with the proviso that the armed struggle is not negatively affected.
Article (24) Maintaining relations with all liberal forces supporting our just struggle in order to resist together Zionism and imperialism.
Article (25) Convincing concerned countries in the world to prevent Jewish immigration to Palestine as a method of solving the problem.
Article (26) Avoiding attempts to exploit the Palestinian case in any Arab or international problems and considering the case above all contentions.
Article (27) "FATEH" does not interfere with local Arab affairs and hence, does not tolerate such interference or obstructing its struggle by any party.

Now, please note from Hamas you have this:

This is what the Left supports? (Trust me, listen to Pacifica radio and it's All Israel's Fault, All the Time). This is what Andrew Sullivan supports (with no outcry from his protege).

You cannot have Peace with someone whose sole goal is to try to kill you. Any American President (or Republican nominee) who talks of a "two State Solution," will get a ding from me.

When Israel had the 1967 borders, the Arabs wanted it destroyed. When Israel won the Six day war, the Arab countries wanted to destroy Israel. When Israel gave up the Gaza strip, those same Arab countries stood by (and the Left remained silent) as missiles flew into civilian homes. Now that the Palestinians ask for the 67 borders (after almost getting 90% of what they wanted in 2000, but declined), it is time to wake up to reality.

NO MORE TWO STATE SOLUTION.

There are 22 countries for the Palestinians to live in, choose one.

Let me conclude with a quote said by two Israeli Prime Ministers, One from the Left, the other from the Right, Golda Meir and Bibi Netanyahu:

"If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence, If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel. "

My question: Knowing what you know now, what type of peace agreement would you make for Israel?

Why does Conor Friedersdorf care more about links from an Anti-semite then the Survival of the Jews?

The last time I engaged with Conor Friedersdorf, I argued policy (Support America's ally, Israel when under attack by his mentor, Andrew Sullivan), he argued about linking policy.

Now, Andrew Sullivan has attacked Israel multiple times since Memorial day.

Where is Conor Friedersdorf during this time?

His last post on the Daily beast is about attacking Mark Levin. (yeah, way to show unity before an election Conor.)

His last post on The American Scene is about Libertarians. Woo hoo! way to be brave./Sarc.

And finally at True Slant, he again argues against talk radio. (Another way to be loved by The New York Times).

Conor, if you are engaged in political Blogging, it helps to have a set of core beliefs. When I engaged you the last time, you argued about getting links, not the rightness or wrongness of your mentor's policy on Israel.

My Tribe worries about the next attacks, your mentor feeds the fire -- yet you choose to remain silent.

You supposedly have a college degree, why are you so stupid on this issue?

Hello June (month)!

I've been busy looking for the day Job, but I will going to interview for the Dream Job (The Southland Fundraiser and New Media) next Thursday with Ryan Panzerello, the Political director of the CRP, two days after the primary.
