Like everyone else, I am glad that 2011 is over.

The sub-plot of this year was how someone I trusted betrayed me (twice).  If I hadn't put myself on the line for him, post election in 2010, this would not be written (or discussed).  But simple things like treating others how you want to be treated does not work with people who think they know everything about everything. There is an unpublished post that has all HIS secrets. The discussions with friends and doctors continue on this subject.  The post is ready.

I might be a Goth, but I am Old School.  My friends are my friends and I look out for them.  If I can't do anything for you, I will cheer and try to find good people to help you to your goals.  Not hard at all.

The Tea Party has them beat for the next few cycles.  Why?

For a group that cares about the "99%" I'm not hearing solutions for the "99%,"

From the news of the Occupy Oakland, it seemed it was not about the Middle Class but causing riots; In Occupy LA, its not about the poor, but about owning the real estate in front of City Hall (for free!).

Meanwhile, in Election 2010, the tea Party groups got organized and took over the local levels of the GOP (seen here in Los Angeles in many places).

Anyone can get to a Tea Party event, you didn't need a tent. 

And ironically, the Left who spent two decades complaining about Social Conservatives could not stand these Fiscal Conservatives.  Conservatives come in a few flavors, hating on both makes you a plain Hater -- not a partisan who can things done.

When you call for a Jacobin Revolution, the words of John Lennon need to ring forth:

We'd all want to see the plan

We're all doing what we can
But if you want money for people with minds that hate

During the time of Occupy, I didn't see new people (i.e. Independents and Republicans) join up, I saw the same folks who spent 8 years Hating (there's that word again) President Bush over Saddam Hussein. (Side question: Where were the anti war protesters during the rush to war without Congressional Authorization with Libya? Hypocrites)

The Tea Party movement brought in independents and Democrats who questioned "Where was their Government going?"  No revolutions here, just people who wanted their Government to not Overreach.  That's it.

Time magazine (the folks who hired Anti Bush, Anti Palin and Anti Israel writer Fareed Zakaria) decided to make this year's Person of the Year, the Protester. 

Daleks have more capability to create things then the Occupy crowd (yes, the Daleks are fictional but the Truth remains what have the Occupiers done for the 99%?  Anything? Bueller?). The Tea Partiers changed the Republican party back to a Fiscal Conservative one -- the Occupiers were pawns of President Obama.  

Yes, pawns.  let me show you:

Something Liberals and Media do not understand: We on the Right support the flow of Commerce.  Turn on KPFK and hear what Liberals really think about business. Hint: They don't support them.  


I await the day the Occupy folks actually do something for the poor, while the Tea Party is taking Government off of people's back. 

Maybe the Occupiers can find where the Anti-war protesters went?

My question: Why do the Occupy people want to attack business' rather then President Obama?  Are they in his pocket?

Among the partisans, something is going on.  I noted it back on the Crack on the Washington Monument post, I see it even more as we get closer to Election 2012.

It seems the Democrats and their Media Praetorian Guards are playing the role of Catiline, ready to destroy the Republic if their Champion does not win.

Who is Catiline and what was his role in the Roman Republic?

(c. 108-62 B.C.), a member of an ancient but impoverished patrician family of Rome, the prime mover in the conspiracy known by his name. He appears in history first as a supporter of Sulla, and during the proscription he was conspicuous for his greed and cruelty. He slew his inoffensive brother-in-law with his own hand, and tortured and mutilated the much-loved Marius Gratidianus. Let's start with President Obama's Praetorian Guard, Fareed Zakaria:

But our Constitution has been revised 27 times.  Some of these revisions have been enormous and important, such as the abolition of slavery. Then there are areas that have evolved. For example, the power of the judiciary, especially the Supreme Court, is barely mentioned in the document. This grew as a fact over history.

But there are surely some issues that still need to be debated and fixed.

The electoral college, for example, is highly undemocratic, allowing for the possibility that someone could get elected as president even if he or she had a smaller share of the total national vote than his opponent.

The structure of the Senate is even more undemocratic, with Wisconsin's six million inhabitants getting the same representation in the Senate as California's 36 million people. That's not exactly one man, one vote.

And we are surely the only modern nation that could be paralyzed as we were in 2000 over an election dispute because we lack a simple national electoral system.

So, to defend President Obama and the Democrats, the cry went forth on June 20th, 2011: Change the Rules.

To keep going with the same trend (Change the Rules so Democrats can win!!!), we now have Peter Orzag, President Obama's  former OMB Chair (and shares the same birthday with yours truly by two years. Unlike him, I did not go to private school) wrote this:

"This is why I believe that we need to jettison the Civics 101 fairy tale about pure representative democracy and instead begin to build a new set of rules and institutions that would make legislative inertia less detrimental to our nation’s long-term health.

 ...

"What we need, then, are ways around our politicians. The first would be to expand automatic stabilizers—those tax and spending provisions that automatically expand when the economy weakens, thereby cushioning the blow, and automatically contract as the economy recovers, thereby helping to reduce the deficit. A progressive tax code is one such automatic stabilizer ...

"Beyond automatic stabilizers, we also need more backstop rules: events that take place if Congress doesn’t act.....

...

"I wish it were not necessary to devise processes to circumvent legislative gridlock, but polarization isn’t going away. John Adams may have been exaggerating when he pessimistically noted that democracies tend to commit suicide, yet, as we are seeing, certain aspects of representative government can end up posing serious problems. And so, we might be a healthier democracy if we were a slightly less democratic one."

Read the words I highlighted.  Just because President Obama is losing does not mean the American Polity is.

And one final shot in the Coming Cold War from Cataline sympathisers:

Speaking to a Cary Rotary Club today, N.C. Gov. Bev Perdue suggested suspending Congressional elections for two years so that Congress can focus on economic recovery and not the next election.

“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that,” Perdue said. “You want people who don’t worry about the next election.”

The comment — which came during a discussion of the economy — perked more than a few ears. It’s unclear whether Perdue, a Democrat, is serious — but her tone was level and she asked others to support her on the idea.

Please read those bolded words.  How different are these Democrats from the words of Catiline on the verge of his second conspiracy?

Who in the world, indeed, that has the feelings of a man, can endure that they should have a superfluity of riches, to squander in building over seas and leveling mountains, and that means should be wanting to us even for the necessaries of life, that they should join together two houses or more, and that we should not have a hearth to call our own? How different was Catiline from the Occupy Wall Street mobs?  Not very.

And here is Cicero's words, standing up for the Republic, speaking to the people of Rome:

Can the Democrats in their hatred against President Bush, former Governor Palin or any of the Wisconsin Protests say the "city and the citizens [are] unhurt and undiminished," 

That's why this post is called the Cold Civil War 2 -- the slings and arrows of attacks have gone in one direction for so long (after Elections, and always needing an Emmanuel Goldstein) from Left to Right, that many people are shocked that the Blogosphere and new partisans of the Right are standing up.

Conservatives and Republicans have dealt with losses (close and otherwise) by continuing forward.  Democrats lose, and they want to change the rules.  Don't believe me?


The Republicans were the Minority in the House for 40 years (and the Presidency from FDR until Ike) -- even then, no Republican ever thought of changing the Rules.

My question: Why are the Democrats taking their cues from Catiline?

Brian Williams, Richard Wolffe and Fareed Zakaria: President Obama's Praetorian Guard

Augustus Caesar, as a way of consolidating power and protecting himself,  created the Praetorian Guard. They grew from a Secret Service type organization to eventually descend to sell the power of Rome to the highest bidder. It wasn't until the Reforms of Constantine, that the Praetorian Guard lost power.

Modern media, from the rise of JFK to the Third Year of the Obama Administration are working to protect the Democratic Administrations from critics and criticism. I have a saying:  

There are no Woodward and Bernsteins during Democratic Party Administrations.

These next characters prove that point.

These three (plus one), Richard Wolffe, Brian Williams and Fareed Zakaria (and of course, Andrew Sullivan) have no understanding of America's two party system. When the media acts like partisans (Hello MSNBC!), we partisans treat them as such.

When has Richard Wolffe ever investigated a Democratic Administration rather then defend it?


Why has Fareed Zakaria despised of the American Government and Constitution when it has worked for Presidents of both parties before President Obama?


Why can't Brian Williams articulate the differences within the Republican Party without depending on Democratic partisans to help?

And why does Andrew Sullivan hate dissent?

The media are the new Praetorians.
Every Democrat in office is JFK reborn, Camelot finally realized.
Every Republican President is Nixon redux -- even when the Republican president takes the Democratic parties foreign policy position (i.e. Bush fils).

The Modern Praetorians continue to destroy Republican Legislators on trumped up scandals, Republican Presidents for speaking to their partisans and Republican candidates for being human with flaws. 

I hope one day the Breitbart crowd (and local partisans who live near these gentlemen) live next door and publish their flaws.

Camelot was a dream, politicians are humans and the Fourth estate is supposed to question everyone in power.

Can anyone remember these gentlemen breaking a scandal when a Democrat is in power?   Are all Democrats saints? Hint: No one is.  We humans are flawed and hypocritical.  If you defend one politicians hypocrisies (Obama not going to Congress for the War Powers Act), I expect the same when a Republican President does it.

That will never happen as long as these gentlemen continue to protect Democratic Presidents. 

Pertinax, killed by Paretorians in 193 AD

In 193 AD, the Praetorians killed Pertinax for his Fiscal Conservatism (sound familiar tea partiers?); Then the Praetorians sold the Caesership to Didus Julianus.  His reign was two months longer then Pertinax.

And that was the beginning of the Year of the Five Emperors. 

If the media overrules the public, that is our future. 

To paraphrase Alan Moore, Who watches the watchmen?

Hint, not the Columbia Journalism Review.  It is run by a former Nation magazine editor so there are  no problems with American media as Praetorian for a Democratic President. In fact, Victor Navasky still fund raises for the Nation.  Where are the cries of "Conflict of Interest?" 

Dead as Pertinax.  

The role of the Fourth estate is not play Macro or Sejanus, but to question everyone, Democrat or Republican in power.  If the words do not match the actions, question them. Investigate. 

I am willing to say that the Fourth estate (as played by Sullivan, Williams, Wolffe, and Zakaria) are willing to bow down before any Democratic Caesar.  In fact, the Fourth estate stopped existing after 2008 so much in thrall they were to Caesar...I mean President Obama. 

What do Republican want with the Fourth Estate?  Stop wishing for Camelot or Watergate; Stop playing Praetorian and treat all candidates the same.  

And also, apologize to Former Governor Palin and the tea parties for treating them both as dirt for opposing Caesar...I mean President Obama. 

And final hint for those four men: I have been at the High Levels within the GOP (local and National). WE DON'T GIVE A F*** ABOUT ANYTHING BUT HIS POLICIES!!!!!  

Any reporter that hung around and knew Republican activists outside the Beltway would know that. 

My question: What do these Gentlemen get by bowing before Caesar Obama?

Fareed Zakharia, The Politico Xenomorph (Or Ripley's Alien)

Once upon a time, in Modern Post-Cold War politics, ex-pats who were not even citizens (or citizens who left America like Glenn Greenwald) would play a small role in the Polity.  Very few ex-pats made it within Government, save for Henry Kissinger (R) and Zbigniew Brzezinski.(D).


To understand the American polity is to believe in the Two party system, and within each Party is a hodge podge of interests and interest groups.  Most active partisans have figured that out.  Ex-pats who refuse to understand the American Gumbo, deserve to be mocked and laughed out of any important position.


Andrew Sullivan for one (and his nasty campaign against Former Governor Palin and Israel), and Fareed Zakaria on the other.


I am also tempted to follow the quote from Wanda in a Fish called Wanda to Otto, but I won't.  Instead, I'm going to show that Zakaria (also an Israel hater) is more like a Xenomorph on the American polity then a Kissinger.

Now let's go and see Fareed Zakaria perform an EPIC FAIL:

This is his current article in Time magazine.

Zakaria is ignorant of his role upon the partisan field (uninfluential), and  the role we partisans who are upon it.

More than that of Richard Nixon, who presided over tax rates that reached 70%, regulations that spanned whole industries, and who actually instituted price and wage controls?

"In fact, right now any discussion of government involvement in the economy — even to build vital infrastructure — is impossible because it is a cardinal tenet of the new conservatism that such involvement is always and forever bad. Meanwhile, across the globe, the world's fastest-growing economy, China, has managed to use government involvement to create growth and jobs for three decades,".

Or to translate: Who cares what you are actually living through? Nixon (or Bush or any Republican Emmanuel Goldstein of the hour) is the TRUE enemy of Conservatives!


And relying on China? That is not a Democratic Government.  They have a command and control economy on what to spend funds on with a mix of Capitalism.  But that is not the equivalent of American Economy.

The President and Congress do not define how much output any industry does.  Know who did that? The former USSR.  Does Zakaria want us to re-learn from them?

Let's keep going:

"Conservatives used to be the ones with heads firmly based in reality. Their reforms were powerful because they used the market, streamlined government and empowered individuals. Their effects were large-scale and important: think of the reform of the tax code in the 1980s, for example, which was spearheaded by conservatives. Today conservatives shy away from the sensible ideas of the Bowles-Simpson commission on deficit reduction because those ideas are too deeply rooted in, well, reality. Does anyone think we are really going to get federal spending to the level it was at under Calvin Coolidge, as Paul Ryan's plan assumes? Does anyone think we will deport 11 million people?"

FDR's programs worked because the country and the Government were smaller at the time.  

Zakaria wants a "mythical" Republican who believes President Obama is a Conservative.  Hah!  He is failing in his role of understanding the American polity.

So, why do I compare Zakaria to a Xenomorph?

This of James Cameron's Aliens: The Democratic parties allies are filled with ex-pats.

Who are the Bloggers that understands Republican politics? Robert Stacy McCain,  Little Miss Attilla and Glenn Reynolds ? or Glenn Greenwald,  Andrew Sullivan and Fareed Zakharia?

I'll give a couple of hints:

Here is Zakaria calling one party names; And here is Sullivan going after Palin's family (again).

You choose.

The Xenomorphs in the original Alien started as eggs, hatched within a host and grew to the picture above.

The Democratic party used to be the home of failed haberdashers and  the working class -- now it is the home the Ivy league intellectual who hates Israel or Union protester.

The ex-pats have hatched many Xenomorphs within the Democrats.  If the democrats were as smart as they said they were, the unemeployment rate would have dropped during the last Congress.

That did not happen.

Fareed Zakaria, the ex-pat, does not know or understand the American polity, hates Bush fils and Former Governor Palin and Israel.

And CNN and Newsweek trusts that the American political sphere would trust him?

No.

Let's look at Fareed Zakharia. During the Bush Administration, he wrote things like this:

"In the past two weeks President Bush has, for the first time, started describing America's adversaries as part of "a single movement," "a worldwide network," with a common ideology. He notes that these groups come from different traditions but concludes that what unites them--their hatred of free societies--is more important. This kind of rhetoric does have the benefit of making the adversary seem larger and more sinister, thereby drumming up domestic support for the administration's policies, but it comes at great cost,"

And here is what Fareed Zakharia wrote about Governor Palin:

"Can we now admit the obvious? Sarah Palin is utterly unqualified to be vice president. She is a feisty, charismatic politician who has done some good things in Alaska. But she has never spent a day thinking about any important national or international issue, and this is a hell of a time to start. The next administration is going to face a set of challenges unlike any in recent memory. There is an ongoing military operation in Iraq that still costs $10 billion a month, a war against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan that is not going well and is not easily fixed. Iran, Russia and Venezuela present tough strategic challenges."

And how can we forget Andrew Sullivan on Palin:

And here is Helen Thomas on President Bush:

"Bush also has been able to execute his power grab by playing the fear card -- and with hardly a peep from a cowed Congress. This tactic has worked most of the time. Now, fortunately, the administration is encountering some pushback from Capitol Hill, from those who reject the chipping away of our civil liberties and the tarnishing of our reputation in the world among those who once respected our leadership,"

And Helen Thomas on Palin:

"In addition to her lack of experience, Palin -- governor of Alaska for two years -- carries a lot of unexpected baggage: Bristol, her 17-year-old unmarried pregnant daughter, plus a gubernatorial ethics problem for ordering a public safety commissioner to sack her ex-brother-in-law who had been involved in a divorce battle with her sister. Palin also has some explaining to do about her good-government image because she has simultaneously deplored special interest congressional funding called ``earmarks’’ while hiring lobbyists to seek millions in federal funds for her town in Alaska,"

ZAKARIA: Your foreign minister, on the other hand, has at various points -- Avigdor Lieberman -- said that he thinks that they should move there, or some large number of them should, and has in some cases seemed to suggest that he favored the ethnic cleansing of parts of Israel, to move certain Palestinians into the -- certain Arabs, Israeli Arabs into the Palestinian territories.
OREN: He has never spoken of ethnic cleansing, to the best of my knowledge. He has never spoken of...
ZAKARIA: He said moving them...
OREN: ... moving them against their will. He's talked about border adjustments.And we all understand that, if there ever is to be a treaty ending this conflict, there's going to have to be an exchange of territories, that some territories are going to find themselves under Palestinian sovereignty, some points under Israeli sovereignty.There have been realities created on the ground, certainly over the 42 years since the 1967 War.

Studying the clues? Now let's see what Andrew Sullivan has to say about the same Country:

I thought ambassador [Oren] were supposed to smoothe over rifts, not inflame them. And I thought they were supposed to speak to the broadest number of citizens in the countries to which they have been appointed, not provide inflammatory rants to the already-persuaded. But this Michael Oren piece in TNR abandons any pretense of diplomatic balance. The premise of Oren's piece is that Israel faces a new Nazism represented by Ahmadinejad and Holocaust deniers but, to an even greater extent, by the South African liberal, Richard Goldstone, and the United Nations. Oren seems to be arguing that Gaza was a war of survival for the Jewish state and that Israel had no choice but to launch a war that killed, by one conservative Israeli count, 320 children, destroyed 4,000 homes, and up to 80 government buildings. Even if one is sympathetic to the horrific barrage of Hamas rockets that Israeli citizens endured (and what decent human being wouldn't be?) - every single rocket being a war crime - it helps no one to use language this extreme or to distort history in this manner.

Because Sullivan, Zakharia, and Thomas are Liberals who attacked President Bush and Governor Palin, (and Sullivan and Zakharia went to Ivies so they must be smart! /sarc) they were also free to attack Jews and the State of Israel.

Conor Friedersdorf is supposedly half-Jewish and he could have stood up to Sullivan, but he doesn't care.

Fareed Zakharia edits the International Newsweek and has a show on CNN on Sunday morning, who will stand up against him?

Helen Thomas was kicked out because she was detrimental to a Democratic Administration. It shouldn't take 40 years to rid the media of Anti-Semitic and Anti-Jewish haters because they sympathize with Progressives in the United States.

My question: What is to be done against Israeli haters Andrew Sullivan and Fareed Zakharia?

35 Things Conservatives, Libertarians and Republicans Need to Do for 2010 and 2012

We on the Right, who stand for Free markets, free ideas and free people need to battle everyday until we win the next two elections (and every election thereafter). There is already a break-up of the Obama coalition of 2008 (that's another post).

So, if you want to promote Freedom, whether it's trade, less taxes or less dictators overseas, here is what needs to be done domestically. Ready, choose one or more to work on. Get your friends involved:

1. If you're a candidate or a Blogger, get in touch with your local ADC and County Central Committee. Work with them every Election.
2. Build Coalitions and make friends with other branches of the Party. If you're a Libertarian, help a Social Conservative. And vice versa. Again, get strong for 2010 and 2012.
3. Defend our Communicators (i.e. Rush, Levin, Beck, etc.) and point your rhetorical cannons Left. Listen or subscribe to their podcasts. They offer the Rhetorical cannonballs.
4. Read these books: Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin; Culture of Corruption by Michelle Malkin; and The Federalist Papers. Good beginnings.
5. Contrary to future Obama speechwriter, Conor Friedersdorf there is no reason why Andrew Sullivan, Anti-semite, breaker of laws, destructor of the Body Politic (by going after Governor Palin's family) and Ivy league snob, should remain in America. If you have any contact with INS (or former Bush Administration officials), call in the favor by kicking Sullivan out of the US. This will become a question for "Meet the Candidates," A Private Bill in a Republican majority will work too. If Conor or Sullivan want to complain, refute all the charges laid in the Valley or STFU.
6. Work with the City of San Diego and the San Diego Republican Party to hold the 2012 Convention there. Why? Brief answer: Military town, protests can be controlled and beautiful weather with the West Coast sun will give us the wind at our backs when Governor Palin takes the nomination.
7. Read the First Cycle of the Republican Encyclicals.
8. 60 Minutes spends every Sunday making ads for the Democratic party. Here are the editors, find them and talk with them. If you can't convince with niceness, we strike harder. Make teams, especially if you are in the NY/NJ/CT area.
9. Newsweek writes the Obama message of the week. As above, find their editors and get to know them. Ask nicely first, if they can't see our side, ask harder at their house.
10. Fareed Zakharia is the International Editor of Newsweek and has a CNN show. However, because he was allowed to Hate Conservatives, Republicans, President Bush and Governor Palin and has an Ivy Degree, he is allowed a platform to hate Jews and Israel. Get him off both platforms.
11. The commenter's at the Washington Monthly want us to be silent (and they do not allow anyone from the Right to comment), the commenter's at Think Progress want everyone on the Right dead. Promote these "views" on your Blog or to the independents during election time. Watch the fun ensue.

13. Donate to the candidate of your choice before you give the NRCC, NRSC or RNC.
14. Do a fundraiser for your candidate. After the primary, do another fundraiser for the winner.
15. Adopt a Congressional District outside your state. Help them.
16. Help put on a fundraising dinner for your County party. If there is none, start one.
17. Know your Assembly District Committee. Help them win elections.
18. Make friends in areas the Right is not supposed to win. Help build a network of friends and invite them to help out in the district. Maybe your friends will be future candidates.
19. Defend your allies, pre and post primary. Don't be like Conor who never defends a Conservative.
20. Columbia Journalism Review is run by Victor Navasky, former editor of the Nation. To this day, he helps fund raise for the Nation. This is known as "Conflict of interest," Let Breitbart and Instapundit know and tell them to shout it from the rooftops.
21. Always hit the Tip jar (and read) of RS McCain; Read the lovely and talented Pam Geller; Follow Dan Riehl and Professors Jacobson, Reynolds and Althouse. They know more then the NYT.
22. Donate to the President Bush library. We need to support honorable men like him.
23. The Left likes to turn our people into "Emmanuel Goldsteins," And they need their "Two Minutes hate," Call them out on it -- especially if the media joins in. Here is a sign for our next Tea Party protest: DEMOCRATS = INGSOC. ORWELL WAS RIGHT!
24. Advance Publications is using subterfuge to destroy Republican candidates. Bankrupt them or buy them before 2012.
25. Subscribe to the Valley of the Shadow.
26. Listen to Reagan's speeches for inspiration.
27. If any Hollywood or Broadway actor attacks the Right, do not spend any money for their films or watch their TV shows. Support any actor or director who understands the Right. Read Big Hollywood for more.
28. Volunteer for a campaign, be it local or national. Meet new friends, get battle-scarred against the Left.
29. Donate to Fischer House for our Military.
30. Read Congressional Bills before your Congressman does.
31. Understand to win policy that the Right needs to build coalitions. Help build one locally for your State Elected officials and National ones too.
32. Treat the left the same way they treated Bush and Palin. Should they apologize or treat our Elected officials (and us) better, then we can be nice. Until then, this is Karma.
33. Use the Scientific Method when dealing with Climate Change/Global warming supporters. Again, keep on looking at the Real estate Values of Malibu Colony Road. if they don't move, why should you worry?
34. Write "Letters to the Editor," of your local paper. Edit Wikipedia.
35. Hire me to help in your Political campaign as a writer/researcher or fundraiser or hire me to work on Policy, with an emphasis on Appropriations. I am available in Los Angeles (San Fernando valley), San Diego, or Washington, DC.
