We are in the midst of Primaries, once they are closer to California (June 5 -- news about this ballot later on), we'll go back to Doctor Who nights.

Imagine the Apocalypse with a rock and roll beat and only Buddy Holly can save the world from Slash.  Yes, weird and surreal, but enjoyable.

Occupy #HeadDesk! Election 2012 means the Don Surber Rule is in Effect

 

While I have been busy working on Los Angeles Politics, I see the Republicans around the country have lost the plot. 

What is the story of 2012? Read the Surber Rule:

The economy should win the presidency (**And let me add Congressional seats --JSF) for Republicans in 2012.

So why are all these Republican candidates talking about anything else?

Some questions can be answered. Sorta.

Reporter: What would you do about childhood obesity?

Answer: A better economic climate that puts parents back to work will enable people to buy healthy foods and buy their kids bicycles and the like so they can exercise.

Reporter: Do you believe in evolution?

Answer: I believe that the economy will evolve when I am elected president. So the answer is yes.

Reporter: What would you do about health care?

Answer:  Something constitutional that will rescue the economy.

Stay on message. Remember the Surber Rule: The economy alone will get a Republican elected president next year. Talk about nothing else.

I cannot believe State Governments are getting pulled in too.  When you Govern in an Election year and break the Surber Rule, every State GOP candidate is attacked. 

Here is Los Angeles, the way to win is Social Libertarianism.  If you must tack to the Social issues, tack this way. If you advocate freedom for all, no one will fault you.  Los Angeles will be up for grabs if Elected officials and candidates stick to the Surber Rule.
