A Little Song, A Little Dance.....

Circumstances have brought me back (slowly, ever so) to The Valley.

Hello all! Missed me?

In a certain sense, 'Tis Election season and I am up for re-election in my district's Central committee (1 of 7, all good people). In another way, there was a bureaucracy in the way. No more.  And finally, on January 11th of this year, I had a (small) heart attack.

Like Lazarus, I have returned.

Upon my return, I have a love of TS Eliot poems (The Wasteland and the Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock), Alternate History comics (Pax Romana and East of West) and Weird Westerns.

During the time away, I spend time in the Rainbow Bar and Grill  (Lemmy is G-d!) and The Whisky-A-Gogo.  Great food, good place, kickass music and awesome people. So I love trying to save the historic part of Rock and Roll on Sunset Blvd, if needed.

So, hello again! I hope to do a little more in the Valley after the Long Break.

Enjoy some music and poetry.  If all goes well, my first post will arrive soon.

Zardoz (Once Again) Speaks to You!

Sorry for the long Summer absence.

Many a time I have been told, if you are under the weather, don't write.  Between multiple car troubles and internal (health) issues, I spent most of the hot days, away from the Laptop (also dying).

So, I'm back!

Let's get this show on the road!

April 2013 Tip Jar and another Gothy Muse

I have been dealing with some side issues out of the Valley, but I think I'm ready to get back.  That tale will be told later this month, a tale of miscommunication and propaganda during the quadrennial year.  If you read the Valley (or friend or family IRL then you should be able to see through it, even as I write it [sometimes]), Real Life does invade the Cyberspace

Apologies and Seppukku on my end.

Now, it is the beginning of the month, so, let me post a picture of another beautiful Gothy Muse, Kat Dennings.

How is she Goth? Before she was famous, she was Gothy in style (and in her Blog).

Here is a tweet that confirms:

So, before the pics, please hit my Tip Jar (or go here ---->)

TY!

Now, the beautiful and (Jewish) Gothy Kat Dennings (Thus proving I am not the only active Jewish Goth out there....)

Charming in a simple Black dress

Gothy, in a simple T

OK, I owe much writing for the 1st quarter of this year....

Please hit the Tip jar and please follow the Valley!

A Little Night Music (as the Blogger Slowly Returns)

Yes, I have been away from the Valley.

I'm sorry.

There is two stories to choose from:

1) I had an adventure whereby I dealt with Intelligence Agents in the Southland fighting against terrorists.  While the Primary election was happening, the battle ended Downtown with the return of Dragons, and a battle between magic and science.  Science won.

or

2) I suffered from a little depression and writers block, so I couldn't write.

(Please choose #1!)

If you wish, I shall carry out Seppuku for dishonoring the lack of writing for the month...

Now, to celebrate my return, a little Night Music:

And soon, I am back for good!

My question: What is your favorite part of the Valley?

Blogger Burnout Week

After some delay, I have finished the first draft of the future American Spectator article.  It is now out for editing .  (Yay!)

Unfortunately, after last week, I suffered from a disease known as Blogger Burnout (not to be confused with a "Burn Notice,").  I will do double duty on Sunday night Fisking 60 Minutes and talk about WikiLeaks as best as I can tonight and tomorrow.

For now, some tunes::

Tears for Fears, Shout

The Beatles, Twist and Shout

Sam Cooke, Twisting the Night Away

And finally,

Siouxsie and the Banshees, Night Shift

I'm back!
