He was here only long enough to grab some stats that "proved" what a great impact he had made. He left town in the middle of the night when we found out his PhD was fake and he was targeted in a federal investigation. People like him always land on their feet--they just move on to a job, collect data showing that the changes they fostered made a world of difference, and then they move on. I met him once at a PR event. A colleague and I were scheduled to speak about a program we have been involved in for years.
