No Bullets in the Valley, only Ballots

Two years ago, I railed against a Blogger on the Huffington Post talking of relieving President Bush of his duties. He was wrong. But because it came from the Left, no one disowned it. It was called a joke. Yeah, I was laughing.

Let me link and quote:

General Pace - you have the power to fulfill your responsibility to protect the troops under your command. Indeed you have an obligation to do so.

You can relieve the President of his command.

Not of his Presidency. But of his military role as Commander-In-Chief.

In addition to relieving him of his command as Commander-In-Chief, you also have authority to place the President under MILITARY arrest.

In all your 39 years of service you have shown total loyalty to the chain of command.

However, given the current imperilment of US troops, and the "Conduct Unbecoming Of An Officer And A Gentleman" of this President - you have a greater responsibility to your nation, your code of honor and to the US Constitution.

I wish you well as you prepare to undertake the most heroic action of your distinguished career.

Now from the Right, on News max, there is this (again, more at the link). Even memeorandum has gotten involved today:

What happens if the generals Obama sent to win the Afghan war are told by this president (who now says, “I’m not interested in victory”) that they will be denied troops they must have to win?

Do they follow orders they cannot carry out, consistent with their oath of duty? Do they resign en masse?

Or do they soldier on, hoping the 2010 congressional elections will reverse the situation? Do they dare gamble the national survival on such political whims?


Anyone who imagines that those thoughts are not weighing heavily on the intellect and conscience of America’s military leadership is lost in a fool’s fog.

Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a “family intervention,” with some form of limited, shared responsibility?


Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.


Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.


For the left, I hope they understand the word Karma. By not following the laws of civility for a President you didn't like, you opened the door when the electoral cycle entered in your favor. Only the Left can stop what they started. We on the Right are still pissed on how you treated Bush and Palin, don't forget that.

I am a partisan, but I believe in the power of honest elections and a free press. Thanks to ACORN, most on the Right don't think the first is possible. And the press, seriously, I've met some activists who think the media has played sides against us since 1960 and 1964. Where is Columbia Journalism Review [CJR] or Democracy in America [DiA] to dispute that fact? Well, CJR is run by a former left leaning Nation magazine editor, and DiA never references Right leaning Blogs. Start there, go deeper.

When is 60 Minutes going after ACORN Voter fraud? Hint: Never.

And if Conservatives and Republicans feel that our views are not getting addressed (as an opposition party)? What happens then?

If I were President Obama, I would bring former Governor Dean, Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid to the White House for a public statement apologizing on how they treated Bush and Palin. And make a promise to treat Americans who differ, better.

But no Liberal will stand up for First Amendment Rights of dissent (or actual officeholders) for Conservatives and Republicans. This is blow back.

I don't want a Military (or any other) Coup D'etat in America. Period. I don't even like to joke about it on the Political sphere. In a fiction book, fine. But this door was opened during the past 8 years. Only those who opened this door can close it.

But, since I said fiction, what is your idea for an American Coup D'Etat? Describe either 2004 or 2012. Go. Maybe you can sell the movie rights.

Be ready to Shake the Disease

For the latter part of the year, I have been dealing with Government Run health care.

The failure of it (in detail) ties into my plague year story. I have been focusing on my health and fighting the bureaucracy. Thus, too many plans have been fallen by the wayside. I am still working on them, but give it time.

When the battle is won (as I plan to win it), I will tell the tale. It will be addressed to the Beltway Contingent of mentors, friends and Bloggers.

If anyone of the Left wants to convince you of how well, in theory, Government Run health care works, be ready for my story. Actual real life examples usually trump theoretical unicorns.

When it is told, I want it in the Congressional record or entered into a magazine piece (if you have access to either of these beforehand, I am available for an interview -- just email me).

And the title of the piece will be titled: Shaking the Disease. Of course it's Goth. Here is the song it was named for:

Does Speaker Pelosi suffer from Amnesia or Madness?

Ahhhh....remember when Dissent was patriotic. Now it's racist.

Aren't you scared? Well, she must have amnesia because look at what she said in 2006 to Code Pink:



So, Speaker Pelosi endorsed the tactics of Code Pink in 2006 and hates the same tactics in 2009. In fact, according to The Hill newspaper, she cried:

A usually steely House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday began to tear up when, in responding to a question about the tone of the national debate, she recalled the politically charged violence that tore through her hometown of San Francisco in the late 1970s.

At her weekly news conference, Pelosi (D-Calif.) was asked if she was concerned about whether the debate over health care and the role of the federal government — much of it wrapped in escalating anti-government rhetoric — could lead to acts of violence.

“I think we all have to take responsibility for our actions and our words. We are a free country and this balance between freedom and safety is one that we have to carefully balance,” Pelosi began.But she then reached back some 30 years, to the very beginning of her career in politics, to recall how heated rhetoric led to the assassinations of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk by a disgruntled former supervisor on Nov. 27, 1978.


“I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw … I saw this myself in the late '70s in San Francisco,” Pelosi said, choking up and with tears forming in her eyes. “This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which we, violence took place and … I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made.”

A few weeks ago, this crying Speaker called protesters at Town halls "UnAmerican," and "Nazi's,"

She endorsed the tactics that are being used by the Right today that were being used by the left during the last Administration. Remember this? (I expect you to click the link and watch the videos before you comment) Again Speaker Pelosi and Thom Hartmann endorsed any or all attacks on the Bush Administration.

But Speaker Pelosi might be mad too. Look at all the symptoms of Dissocial personality disorder:

**Callous unconcern for the feelings of others and lack of the capacity for empathy.
**Gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard for social norms, rules, and obligations.
**Incapacity to maintain enduring relationships, though having no difficulty in establishing them.

**Very low tolerance to frustration and a low threshold for discharge of aggression, including violence.
**Incapacity to experience guilt and to profit from experience, particularly punishment.
**
Marked proneness to blame others or to offer plausible rationalizations for the behavior bringing the subject into conflict.
**Persistent irritability

Yes, that's Pelosi!

How did civility die in Politics? Both Pelosi and Hartmann should look in the mirror. I read the comic, John Constantine, an anti-hero who deals with Angels and Demons. Throughout the history of the character, it's always mentioned that it is easier to call up a demon then rid yourself (or your neighborhood) of one.

The Left has called up the Demon, Hatred. They need Emmanuel Goldstein's and Two Minute Hate's. They have 9/11 and trig trutherism. And they never cleaned their own house!

The tipping point for all of us on the Right was how Gov. Palin was attacked from all quarters and no Leftie stood up said "Enough," She stepped down rather be in the line of fire that would interfere with Governing Alaska. That was the day the Right got Angry. I am still angry.

Because the Left believes in the righteousness of their cause, any or all attacks on Conservatives or Republicans is allowed. However, the blow back from the attacks on Palin, the Left has yet to understand. You cannot call up a Demon and expect it to go away when you are done. They have their own timetable.

This has nothing to do with Race. Heck, I hang around Conservative and Republican circles in the Blogosphere and real life. Ive never met people who gave a damn more about other people then us folks on the Right. Re-read my Plague Year and tell me I'm wrong.

Only the Left can put the Demon away. How? Every Conservative and Republican you meet, start with the words, "I'm sorry I hated Bush and Palin,"

222 Years later and still going strong! The American Constitution

Today is Constitution day!

222 years after a long summer in Philadelphia (Hey Proc! Save me a cheese steak!), 39 men signed the basis for all the laws in America:

The US Constitution.

The Founders made America a place where anyone can grow up and be President. Even the current one. Heck, President Reagan was only was an actor with a BA from a non-Ivy College and he became well loved. Why? Because of those first lines written by some great men:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

We the People, not We the Office Holders, not, We the Ivy leaguers and Blue Bloods, but We the People.


The Founders were smart that the Constritution could be Amended. Have you noticed more people gained civil and voting rights as our country got older? Yay Founders!

To understand how we got there, study up on America under the Articles of Confederation. We didn't get it right the first time, what country does?

Who Flunked Flank?

The sleeping giant awakes. There are tests for the activist all of us on the Right. It is our modern Demarcation line.

Test 1) Supporting Rep. Wilson. (Hint: Support his 2010 campaign here)

Test 2) 9/12 and Beck.

Test 3) ACORN and Breitbart

Now, who flunked flank? Who ran with Mucus?

Conor Friedersdorf, Megan McCardle (what is it about The Atlantic magazine that they know no Conservative?), David Frum (whom I've defended from the LEFT) and the New Majority contributors, and of course, Charles Johnson at LGF.

Jon Henke is committing a Infield Fly, but he knows 78% of the time where to point the rhetorical cannon. Everyone else on that list only points the rhetorical cannon at the Left less then 35% of the time. This, as pointed out by Dan Riehl, is not the time. Why give Frank Rich, Keith Olbermann, or Maureen Dowd any victories? Nixon pointed out, the press is the enemy. Until the press understands we Conservatives and Republicans (and the Left clears out their crazies first) we do not do a damn thing. We offer to do it, but Van Jones was cleaned out after the Left won, not before. Warning shots to our side fine, but no purging until the Left clears out it's Bush and Palin hatred (not to mention their 9/11 and Trig truthers).

I'm willing to say that Jon Henke has passed flank, like RS McCain, Dan Riehl, the lovely and charming Pam Geller, Clifton B., and Bruce/Dan at GayPatriot. There is a bigger picture here and each Blogger is contributing their own way to the ideals I wrote in Part One of ***The Republican Encyclicals. ***(Hint: They are coming back, link and discuss the earlier posts so we can prep for 2010. Yes, I'm talking to you with the Blog that did not Flunk Flank.).

So, if the standard is set on how to pass flank, why did the others fail?

We'll go backwards on the list.

Charles Johnson -- Anyone citing him as a Righty, fails. He attacked most of my Blogger friends. Never signed with LGF. Did not care. Very happy he broke Rathergate, but like Andrew Sullivan (and by attacking Pam Geller, he goes with Andrew Sullivan in being Anti-Jew), his home has always been on the Left. I back my friends. He does not. Failed Flank and, unfortunatly, ran with Mucus.

David Frum and the New Majority -- I'm mad at Frum. I defended him and he then gives Newsweek magazine (no friend of the Bush administration or the McCain campaign) a place to attack Rush. Whisky Tango Foxtrot?! Frum wants to be loved by the in the Sprawl (to use Wm. Gibson's term). He wants to write for the New York Times. Frum does not understand that he is asking for love from people who HATE Conservatives and Republicans. Ask President John McCain. I defended a useful idiot. Frum, I await your apology here in the Valley. And why do I slam his so-called "new majority" people? Because, not one of these people are known among any of the circles (Hill Staff, Bloggers and Activists) I travel in. Why should I care what they write or say? They don't care any local activist. Failed Flank, ran with Mucus and useful idiots all.

Megan McCardle -- falls under the catagory: Anyone defending Andrew Sullivan does not understand the Right. Yes, Ms. McCardle, guilt by association. And yes, the Atlantic hires no Conservatives. Defend that policy in your next Blog post. Not only flunking Flank, but can be find in the next part of Mel Brooks' movie, the Spanish Inquisition. She never defends the Right, so she should not be considered. She just wants to say, "It's good to be the King,"

Finally, the leader of this Doo Dah Parade, Conor Friedersdorf. It's easy to pick away at his arguments. Look here. But here is my argument with Conor (I have a simple last name and nom de plume, not Conor), his base of Conservative thought is Andrew FREAKING Sullivan. The last post describes Andrew Sullivan and the ways he is A) Not Conservative B) Anti-Jew C) Believes in one standard for himself, another for Others D) Hatred of Palin and her family. None of which leads to Conservative thought or action.

By default, Conor loses. He has not walked or called for any candidates. Again, he fails the basic who knows him? test. If Conor is from CA, none of my contacts in TWO (Los Angeles and San Diego) Counties know him or have heard of his great work. And he attacks, every single time, activist Conservatives. Again, the influence of Sullivan.

In legal terms, he has no standing to define Conservatism because he backed President Obama in the last election. That was not the Conservative choice last year (neither was McCain, so Conor flunks even further). Here is a simple test for Conor. Is Keith Olbermann talking Hate Speech against Conservative Public officials? And defend Mark Levin to balance your answer. Answer here or on your Blog. I doubt he can or will. Dan Riehl and RS McCain will be judges.

In my youth, I was a street kid in Queens, New York. Even lost a tooth in a gang fight about real estate around Queens Boulevard. What mattered was a few things: Being smart, creative and loyalty to your crew. All of those I called out would run at the sign of trouble. I value loyalty, even when times are bad. Those who I said passed flank, I would not have to worry about losing "back," Loyalty counts.

My questions to my readers, what other Bloggers failed Flank and ran with Mucus? And also, what Bloggers passed?

Andrew Sullivan: Sell Out

Since he is still a citizen of the Crown (UK), he has never learned the rules of engagement in American politics. That's why he went after Palin's family; He does not care.

Now the news across the wires (the main story is linked):

U. S. Magistrate Judge Robert B. Collings says in his decision that the case is an example of how sometimes “small cases raise issues of fundamental importance in our system of justice.”

While marijuana possession may have been decriminalized, Sullivan, who owns a home in Provincetown, made the mistake of being caught by a park ranger with a controlled substance on National Park Service lands, a federal misdemeanor.

The ranger issued Sullivan a citation, which required him either to appear in U.S. District Court or, in essence, pay a $125 fine.

But the U.S. Attorney’s Office sought to dismiss the case. Both the federal prosecutor and Sullivan’s attorney said it would have resulted in an “adverse effect” on an unspecified “immigration status” that Sullivan, a British citizen, is applying for.

At the hearing, Collings observed that Sullivan would still have to state on his application that he had been charged with a crime, and he asked both the prosecutor and Sullivan’s attorney, Robert Delahunt Jr. (cousin of U. S. Rep. William D. Delahunt), for more information about why paying the $125 would have “any additional adverse effect.”

When no attorney could fully answer the question beyond citing advice from immigration lawyers, Collings requested that Delahunt submit a brief on the issue. But before Delahunt could reply, Assistant U. S. Attorney James F. Lang jumped in and said that Collings had no power to inquire why the U.S. Attorney had decided to have the charge dismissed.

Collings says he expressed his concern that “a dismissal would result in persons in similar situations being treated unequally before the law. … persons charged with the same offense on the Cape Cod National Seashore were routinely given violation notices, and if they did not agree to [pay the fine] were prosecuted by the United States Attorney … there was no apparent reason for treating Mr. Sullivan differently from other persons charged with the same offense.”
In fact, noted Collings, there were several other defendants appearing in court the same day who were charged with the same offense.


In his opinion, Collings wrote that the U.S. Attorney is “is not being faithful to a cardinal principle of our legal system, i.e., that all persons stand equal before the law and are to be treated equally in a court of justice once judicial processes are invoked. It is quite apparent that Mr. Sullivan is being treated differently from others who have been charged with the same crime in similar circumstances.”

So, what does this mean? In Andrew Sullivan's America, I wrote, he believes in a caste system. How he is treated in New England shows Americans, that without Andrew Sullivan's contacts (or for that matter Henry Louis Gates' -- I see a pattern, don't you?), what happens to the rest of us does not matter to him.

Now he is entering the world of Realpolitik on a personal level. I've been involved in politics and policy since I was 15. So, what happens next?

He has sold his soul for American Citizenship (as per a Private Bill supported by President Obama [Sponsored by Rep. Delahunt?]), so who does Sullivan sell out for his support?

Simple. If there any Gay Rights groups angling for an end to DOMA, DADT and Federal recognition of gay marriage by the Obama Administration, President Obama can use Sullivan as a shield against doing anything for those causes.

Yet, they will still blame the GOP. If I were a member of any Gay Rights group based in DC (or in any of the 49 other states), I would ask Sullivan "What deal he has with the Obama Administration for his citizenship?"

I'm sending out a warning to these groups know since we Conservatives already know his character. Be ready.

Remembering the 2,996: Patrick O'Keefe


This year, we remember a hero.

Patrick O'Keefe was one the firefighters found in the stairwell of Tower One. As a member of the NYFD, he was honorable to begin with; Mr. O'Keefe was there to make sure the public got out on that bad morning in New York City.
Since his death, a foundation and a charity regatta has been created in his name. Here is his biography as written by The O'Keefe Foundation:

President Obama's Health Care Speech

President Obama spoke in front of Congress twice this year.

Tonight was about President Obama selling his Government Run health Care plan to the public and to a majority run Democratic party Congress.

The best thing I read about the speech came from Althouse. Read this comment by jr565:

I still believe we can replace acrimony with civility. We need to not demagogue our opponents or use scare tactics and spread disinformation. So all you racist, hillbilly tea bagging Nazis better shut the f up.

We need to put aside partisanship and come together and incorporate the best common sense ideas from all sides. So all you republicans, stop being so partisan and simply vote for this even though it has nothing you want and you were denied access to the enactment of the bill. And remember I won (you racist tea bagging Nazis)!And screw you tort reform!

My plan is all about saving money even though the CBO is saying my plan will cost money and even though my ideas don't actually save any money (like preventive care).

I know there’s been a lot of misinformation in this debate. And there’s some folks out there who are, frankly, bearing false witness. But we need reform now and this bill is too important for us to simply do nothing which is what the evil racist Nazi republicans are suggesting. And even though this plan wont actually take effect for 4 years or so.

There is truth in brevity sometimes.

Is President Obama really Harold Saxon?

During the Primaries, I was wrong. Secretary of State Clinton could not be Harold Saxon, but President Obama is looking close to it though.

Who is the Right Honorable Harold Saxon? Watch this episode of the "new" Doctor Who, called "The Sound of Drums," Start focusing after 7:30. If you are already a Doctor Who fan, enjoy these highlights.



In First World nations, we all have records of where we've been. College grades or reports? None of President Obama's to be found. Here are the list of records President Obama has not released.
I'm not focused on his birth records (because I believe he was born in Hawaii. He is also President, you can argue for his school records and his written work -- I want to see it all, the birth record issue is petty and stupid, but not his school items), but I would like to know what he wrote when he was in College. What did he believe then? Does he still believe it today?

But why Harold Saxon? Because Great presidents know that the country is bigger then their own ego. When President Lincoln wrote the Gettysburg Address, there are no "I's" in the speech. It was about his fellow countrymen. Presidents know they are to be the object of ridicule because they represent the State (or The Man), but President Obama is immune just like Saxon.
Can you think of one major media star that attacked the State in 2009? Didn't most of them attack the State between 2001 - 2008? Welcome to Oceania where entertainment is part of the State. Yes, I'm talking to you Chris Rock and Patton Oswalt. Both are now official tools of the State.

Also, great Presidents know that it is better to be hated by his or her fellow countrymen, then for Americans to start fighting with each other. The Left, has learned to hate fellow Americans, and it shows in Obama's governing (if that) style. Snitching on other Americans, lesson plans that help the President with no reference to other Presidents and their great deeds; I'm sure President Obama will introduce Toclafane into political life pretty soon. (And let me be the first to say, Keith Olbermann is America's most well known Toclafane )

Remember the beginning of "The Sound of Drums?" Hope and Change was it's own drumbeat. But Senator Obama did not take public funds (even though campaign funding was changed in 2002 by his opponent, Senator McCain). Obama, hypocrite then, and hypocrite now.

The silence of CJR and Democracy in America on President Obama's hypocrisy is not surprising. They heard the sound of drums too.

This argument could all be moot if President Obama is really Zaphod Beeblebrox -- he isn't in it to harm people, he just wants a huge kegger party and steal a spaceship (courtesy BBC).....

Van Jones, Henry Louis Gates and the End of a Fallacy

In the world of Vertigo Comics Fables, there is a character called Gary the Pathetic Fallacy who travels with Jack of Tales, helping to cause mischief and mayhem. In the real world, the resignation of Van Jones ends a fallacious tactic whose job is to stifle debate.

Every election is about a trade. Let's take 2004 and 2008:

In 2004, the re-election of President Bush was about the trade of: do what is necessary to stop any attacks on America (here or overseas). Hurricane Katrina exposed a blindness, but he still never attacked his domestic opponents afterwords.

In 2008, Americans elected President Obama to move the country forward on race relations. No more Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Sharpton attacking business' and people for (alleged) racism. No more if we oppose Liberal African American issues, the race card is played. Heck, in 2000, the NAACP made an ad against Governor Bush crying "racist," even after he executed actual ones to death.

Since 1/20/09, all Liberals and Democrats say is: Any opposition to President Obama is racist. Forgetting the last 8 years of fallacious arguments (If you do not click the link, don't complain about the Blow back now), the left expects the Right to continue to shut up and be called names.


After the way Governor Palin and President Bush were treated, we on the activist Right know we are next. Conor Friedersdorf (will never learn it) and Jon Henke (right now) has forgotten this. That is a future post.

When Senator Obama campaigned in 2007 and 2008, he gave speeches of a "Post-racial America," But then, have the Liberals and Democrats ever acted "post-racial," with Justice Thomas, Secretary Rice or Kenneth Gladney? NO.

When the Henry Louis Gates issue erupted, I noticed that one of Officer Crowley's jobs was to teach other Cambridge Police Officers not to stereotype criminals due to race. What did Professor Gates do? He stereotyped Officer Crowley. President Obama originally took Professor Gates' side.

Officer Crowley was living in Post-racial America, where did Professor Gates live? Liberals attack Conservatives and Republicans for opposing President Obama by calling them "racists," How does this help when it actually occurs in modern times?

Ta-Nahisi Coates writes for the Atlantic. Just like citizen of the crown, Andrew Sullivan. No support on his Blog against Kenneth Gladney's attack. No support of Justice Thomas, Secretary Rice or any African American who does toe the Liberal line. Instead, attack all on the Right with the cry of "Racist!"

Van Jones Hated President Bush. Van Jones hated Republicans and Conservatives. And because he was supported in these hates (along with an Ivy degree), this hate is allowed. Note how many in the media have Ivy degrees and Hate Bush, Conservatives and Republicans. See how much they get away with.


If the resignation of Van Jones can do one thing, it should end the fallacy of calling opposition to President Obama "Raaacists!" To quote Depeche Mode, People are people. There are stupid people. There are smart people. There are civil people. And there are Assholes. Van Jones did not look at Conservatives, Republicans or President Bush as "people," Ta-nahisi Coates and Henry Louis Gates follow the same route.

And read any poster or commenter at Think Progress, Washington Monthly, Daily Kos or Huffington post. Same thinking.

I want a post-racial America. Oppose each other on our views, not skin color, creed or religion. But the Left cannot get over their Hate.

Anyone look at crime rates vs. Business openings in Detroit, Compton and Anacostia? All Democratic Party run since the Flood.

My questions are these:

When has the Left ever been post-racial? Have you? Examples please.

And if you are on the Left, why do you always scream "Uncle Tom" to a Conservative or Republican African American? Should every African American think the same way on politics?

Campaigning, by way of two Goth Clubs

I'm a Conservative Republican (with a Libertarian streak) and a Goth.

Some people think they cannot co-exist; I am proof of how both work with each other. Being a Goth does not hold me back from my dreams from working in a future Republican White House Chief of Staff's office and being a Republican does not hold me back from visiting these clubs.

There are two clubs in Los Angeles that Goths frequent, in fact they show the difference in campaign styles too. So, political people, meet Goths, Goths meet Republicans.

The two clubs I speak of are: Bar Sinister in Hollywood and Malediction in Korea Town. How do these clubs define the style of political campaigns? Look deeper.

Our first stop is near Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. Bar Sinister is here and is usually the first stop in any Goth's visit to Los Angeles. It also attracts bands, DJ's and tourists. And some of those tourists really are tourists, all the hotels are nearby. The other type of tourists are visitors the "Goth scene," for the first time after trying out other clubs in LA.

Our next step is further east closer to Wilshire Boulevard and edging towards Downtown. It is a club run by the lovely and talented DJ Amanda Jones. Not as loud or boisterous as Bar Sin (as regulars call it), but Goths feel comfortable here (I won't argue the Goth v. vampires issue. South Park did it here). The music is tight and very few tourists (of either sort) are here.

Now, if you campaign for a candidate, what do these clubs mean to you?

The activists are always involved back in the primaries. If you cannot convince your own people of your views (or your candidates), then how can you appeal to the general public later?

Malediction, is a club for Goths, run by Goths. If you win the primary, you can add to your appeal later on.

While the party is re-building, intellectuals in the Party cannot ignore the voters. The reason why Palin is loved is because she appeals to the primary voter and, like us (and President Bush), she has been martyred. Until our "elitists," at the National Review and others cited here argue their cases among Conservatives, we don't care what they have to offer. For Conservatives and Republicans to re-build, we have to hang out on the terrace and talk about what works for our voters, then worry about the General election.

Kudos to Jon Henke for talking on the terrace. And to RS McCain for joining him.

In Hollywood is where the people are. Bar Sinister is where everyone stops at. From the bands, to the upstairs stuff (this is political Blog, find out yourself what is there) to the circus atmosphere sometimes, it brings in everyone. Even those who aren't Goth.

In the general campaign, we need everyone to show up and enjoy our club. Whether they are tourists or Goths, they show. When we have people at like Frum (whom I've defended from the Left) attacks our own people, they make it hard for us to appeal beyond our base. Liberals make Emmanuel Goldstein's of our people, when they stop, we can reach across the aisle.

People like Frum and National Review make it harder for the Conservative and Republicans to make it to the general populace. They have forgotten Reagan's 11th Commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican.

Frum and National Review should be targeting the Liberals and the Democrats, not Conservatives. Why should someone visit our Bar Sinister if our own people bad mouth it? The general election does has the chaotic, circus atmosphere that Bar Sin has; And we should not worry about our own people attacking us when, as Mark Levin says, Statism is rising.

Before 2010, we must school these wayward so-called Republicans into grooving at Malediction so we can bring the party to Bar Sin.

How? The details will be in the Republican Encyclicals this fall. Until then, should we encounter a so-called Conservative or Republican who forgets Reagan's 11th Commandment, tell them to convince us that they are Right.

If they cannot, tell them to get the hell out of the way.

My questions are simple:

1) What was your favorite Primary campaign? And General?
2) How do we find these wayward Republicans?
3) Would you visit either of these clubs when you are in LA?

The Heat and the Smoke and the Bull

Sorry for the silence.

In short, here's why:

1) Dealing with Government run health care because of the medical side of the Plague year. Guess what? Government health care doesn't work. When everything is back on track (or if you work in a Republican office or Organization, I will tell it sooner), I will tell that story when it's over (in about two weeks). That's the Bull.

2) If you've read anything about the fires in Los Angeles, I can see them from my house. LA is already hot during the Summer (or Global warming for the Gore crowd), but the fires add to it. Thus, the heat and the smoke.
